    The South end of the median island separating the South & North lanes of Gleason Rd where it intersects 71st St is missing the signs as shown still exists on the North end of the same median isand. The signs on the South end were knocked down during one of the snows. This is the second report/request that's been submitted pertaining to this issue.

    About 15 ft West of the intersection of 69th Terrace & Mize Rd, on 69th Terrace, a pothole and an area of cracked asphalt has developed. Pothole needs to be filled and the pavement repaired.

    When is Shawnee going to replace the one lane bridge on Gleason Rd. South of 71st St. and also bring the block and a half of Gleason Rd in that area up to acceptable standards and conditions??
    With the increase in new housing in the area and the resulting increase in vehicular and pedestrian traffic, the road is a safety hazard and it needs to be remedied!!!

    From 6225 Clare south to 63rd St,, on the East side, the weeds and brush need to be cut back from the roadway.

    The North side of 71st West from Clare to the creek recently had the grass trimmed from the roadway to about a foot from the roadway. However, the branches and heavier vegetation were not addressed and are protruding into the roadway. Eventually this brush will mar vehicles traveling along the roadway. Shouldn't these be cut back to eliminate the damage they will cause?

    Weeds and brush are too tall and encroaching on the roadway on the North side of 71st Street running West to South bound Gleason Rd.
  • Shawnee Misson Parkway & Renner Road Shawnee, Kansas - Shawnee
    The East side of the East Bound Bridge of Shawnee Mission Parkway over Renner road has severe buckling of the pavement in both lanes where the road abuts the bridge.
    It is becoming increasingly jarring when traveling over it. Feels like it could bend a wheel, or at the very least knock the vehicle out of alignment.
    This was submitted several weeks ago and the reply was that the issue would be addressed in 7 to days. That time has past.

    25255 & 25065 West 71st St Shawnee, Kansas - Shawnee
    Weeds and branches along the guardrail on the South side of 71st between 25255 & 25065 are protruding into the roadway.
    This was reported several weeks ago and some effort was made on the western side of the guardrail over the creek but the eastern side has not been addressed.
  • East Bound Shawnee Mission Parkway And Renner Road Shawnee, Kansas - Shawnee
    Where the roadway meets the bridge on the East side of East Bound Shawnee Mission Parkway over Renner Road, the pavement is buckled in both lanes to the extent that it is extremely jarring to a vehicle when passing over that area. It is to the extent that it feels like it could bend a wheel or at the very least knock the front end out of alignment.
    This was reported earlier and a couple weeks ago the response was that it would be addressed in 7 to 10 days. So far no action seen.
    Please advise.
