DESCRIPTION
I'm extremely concerned there is going to be a terrible accident on the pond involving power boats and paddle boats. My son was kayaking with a friend on the 4th when he was buzzed by a high-speed boat with a water skier behind. They were almost whipsawed by the skier's cable, and they lost a paddle as a result. TG, that was all. But it's only a matter of time till a disaster. I realize the residents will not give up their fast boats. However, there must be a dividing line between the beach end of the pond and the much larger area to the east of it. This is crucial and urgent.

I'm concerned about the hygiene of Heart Pond Beach facility based upon the huge increase in the number of adults and children using it. Two things in particular:
- Is the bacterial count in the water being monitored? (How much use can a small, shallow pond sustain?)
- Is anyone taking care of sanitizing the portable toilets?
(I ride the bike path every day, and I have to hold my nose within 300 feet of them.)

There are many non-Chelmsford residents at the beach. It's overcrowded. Too many people in the water will pollute the small shallow pond. I thought it was meant to be for Chelmsford residents only! What happened to that?
