    The "claw" that grasps the recycle bin literally crushed both sides of the bin, precluding it from being emptied. The same happened at 6401 Mountain NE (my neighbor). Either the truck mechanism needs to be adjusted or repaired, or the bins simply need to be replaced with newer, sturdier bins.

    I'm guessing a small tire shop in the neighborhood is dropping old, used tires in the alley behind this building, rather than disposing of them properly.

    When driving eastbound on Lomas from the intersection with San Mateo, there are three lanes proceeding through the intersection, but it is confusing for the two left-most lanes. The left-most lane aligns with the center lane on the other side of the intersection, past the stop light. Sometimes there are near collisions because the vehicle in the left-most lane should bear slightly to the left, but instead it crosses into the center lane when there is already another vehicle there. New striping would clarify that.
