  • The grass and weeds at the tennis courts at Bee Creek Park are severely overgrown, posing serious health and safety issues (snakes, mosquitos, spiders, etc.) and violating the City’s own ordinance. While it is currently raining, there have been breaks in the weather prior to the status of the area reaching this level. Lack of action such as this negatively impacts the perception of the city, as well as any hold the city has on enforcing policies when residents can see them not being followed on city property.

  • 102 Live Oak St College Station, TX 77840, USA - Eastgate Area

Vehicles are parked on both sides of Live Oak making it barely passable for 1 vehicle. The worst part is closest to Texas where a large bus and work vehicle are parked on opposite sides of the street. You cannot see entering Live Oak from any of the surrounding parking lots or driving in off of Texas.

Large vehicles I believe belong to those staying at the LaQuinta are frequently parked on this street, resulting in traffic being blocked.

  • 210 Poplar St College Station, TX 77840, USA - Eastgate Area
Cars are parked on both sides of Poplar street, blocking driveways and rendering it barely passable. A firebrick would not be able to get through in the case of an emergency.

The right hand turn lane from University (heading east) turning on to Texas (heading south) needs some sort of sign indicating that drivers have their own lane to continue in on Texas. So many people stop at that turn and wait for the other traffic to pass before continuing when they have their own lane. This puts drivers at risk, especially when people slam on their brakes in the middle of the turn. Just tonight, someone slammed on his/her brakes right there, sending the motorcycle behind the car sliding into its side. Luckily, the driver of the motorcycle wasn't injured and was able to get back up, but it's honestly only a matter of time before there is a serious injury/death.
