The first time I reported this issue (ID: 2631570) the weeds were removed and the sign was no longer obstructed. The weeds have overgrown again to the point where the sign is almost completely obstructed again.

Overgrowth of weeds on property makes no stopping sign barely visible.

This is the rear of the student housing building from 43-51 Elberon Pl. Like 53 Elberon Pl, it is hardly ever cleaned up and has looked like this for years.

This is the rear of 53 Elberon Pl. It has looked like this for years. Absolutely disgusting and we're all tired of having to see this in our back yards.

Per City code, "for rent" signs may only be temporary and must be removed within three days after the rental of the premises. This sign has been permanently affixed and is never removed regardless of if the unit is rented.

The same landlord/company has similar signs on many other properties on Elberon Pl as well.

The student housing building located between 43 and 51 Elberon Pl as well as 53 Elberon Pl has a long history of problems. From large parties, underage drinking, public urination, and most recently, lighting fireworks and letting them burn on the wood deck! Also, the large amount of litter in the rear of these buildings is disgusting! Lastly, this is more of an issue during the school year, but multiple illegally parked cars blocking the roadways (in the rear) is also a longstanding issue.

Violation of Code 313-47: All properties and/or adjoining public ways in the city of Albany must be maintained free of litter, debris and excessive accumulation of animal waste.

Has been in violation for months. Owner does not maintain property enough. Only cleans up a few times a year. Ongoing issue.

1. Violation of Code 313-51.1: All properties must be maintained free of heavy overgrowth and or accumulation of weeds.

2. Also, City signage has been obstructed by these weeds (see picture).
