I've lived along 42nd Ave S for over a decade now and have seen many cars and motorcycles speeding downhill at this street between S 160th and Southcenter Blvd. This regularly occurs throughout the day. Many pedestrians walk up and down this street which put them at risk to get hit by cars.Most of these pedestrians are schoolchildren from elementary, middle and high schools nearby. I've notified the city regarding this in previous years and have not seen any response to curtail speeding such as speed meters or speeding patrol. In addition, lighting is very poor and there are no raised sidewalks on the street. If there is any street in Tukwila that immediately needs speed meter and regular patrolling, this is it!
