    Due to the disgusting and disrespectful habits of those inhabiting the following rental buildings;
    2800, 2806 & 2812 Monument Ave,
there are now huge rats freely running throughout the alleyway in the middle of the day!! Perhaps the picture attached would explain why !
There has been repeated and consistent complaints regarding these locations and yet nothing changes, except the # of rodents now calling this location home. Perhaps it is time for the city to start levying fines or perhaps a call or 2 to the Board of Health is in order?

Bulk Trash that Never Disappears! Pic taken an hour after DPU came through this am! 2 Garbage cans for entire rental building which fill up within a day. Rest of the time, tenants throw their garbage from 2nd and 3rd fl fire escapes. Have communicated problem to management company on multiple occasions. Maybe prompting (ie: fines) from city will help! Homeowners shouldn't be subjected to this day after day!

So, yet another responsible renter location as far as ongoing garbage piling up: 2806 Monument Ave.
2 garbage cans for a 3 story building! Recycle cans were literally removed by CVWMA recently since residents insisted upon filling with trash and no one would empty.
Several attempts to communicate with Management Co via phone and e mail, about the CONSISTENCY of this problem. They came by once and did a terrific job cleaning up-within hour, tenants were throwing pieces of furniture and garbage bags off 2nd and 3rd fl fire escapes!
Promised daily monitoring-send pics that reflect this is not happening and their response: "hope you are bothering the other buildings because we aren't the only ones with this problem."
    Way to deflect!
These pics don't even do the site justice as it's only been 2 days! Probably should have waited until after weekend so u can get a real feel for what this area usually looks like.

Must Commend DPU and Mr. Thomas Gobles in particular for finally addressing the mess that was N Boulevard side of 2800 Monument Ave. The overflowing trash cans and broken furniture that continually littered the sidewalk at this building site has been cleaned up and cans removed to alley way where they belong! Can't thank you enough! I don't think you can upload more than 1 image per issue so I chose the transformation shot-amazing!

    Side of 2800 Monument Ave
Reported this ongoing issue many times, as recently as last week.
Keeps getting marked closed when it shouldn't be.
As per zoning regs, property garbage cans are not allowed to sit on sidewalks, especially when they look like this!
Guess I'll just keep posting until SCF actually does something!

ONGOING TRASH PROBLEM @ this location: Side of 2800 Monument Ave. Why, Why, Why is this building allowed to keep their trash cans on the street, allowing for this situation to occur time and time again????

Millennials moved out of 2806 Monument Ave yesterday and as they are prone to do, left all of their discarded furniture and garbage strewn throughout alleyway.
  • Rear Of 2810/2812 Monument Ave Richmond, Virginia - The Museum District
Wish I could forward the smell as well for full effect! This is every week-a day or two after trash pick up, rear of 2810 & 2812 Monument Ave. I count 6 units per building, estimate at least 2-3 occupants per unit, for a minimum total of at least 24 occupants. They share 2 garbage cans and 2 recycle cans. Are you kidding me?
Maybe that's why my own garbage cans are often chock full before I get to put my own trash in.
