I've reported this a couple of times (first report was made in May and I followed up in June). Last time I posted, I was informed that Duke Energy would be assessing the lights/making improvements. Has anything been done? They are still too bright and are making sleep difficult. Is there any other way to report this issue to get it resolved? I'd be happy to call someone or email someone if that would be more effective than this website.

I previously reported (on a different, now archived strand) that the LED lights outside our home are too bright and making it hard for people in the second floor bedrooms to sleep. Last reply was that Duke Energy was going to evaluate this and that the shields (that I requested) for these lights were on back order. We would still really like to have shields placed on the lights so they don't shine into our bedrooms. Can this be done? Thank you. Here are previous replies:1) City of Raleigh 3 (Verified Official)

Kate. Staff received your request and Duke will evaluate the request. Please know that the shields are on back-order and Duke does not expect to get any for another two weeks. It is possible that your lights do not need shields but just readjusting.
