This tree is actually dead, has been since winter if not before... possible to cut down? No leaves and when you park under our close to it, it leaves some kind of sap/stain on your vehicle.

The last two photos were taken while walking my dog at 7:45pm. While the rotary is nicely illuminated, you literally step less than a foot towards Elm Street and can hardly see in front of you. It is unsafe for residents especially being near park. The photos taken this morning are of pole and location.

there are potholes and huge rocks on street in front of homes and driveways...these rocks can cause damage to tires and are impinging on parking space

I don't understand why the city is conducting snow removal on the odd side of the street when it's the even side that needs attending? Not one person on my block parked on the odd side...we NEED snow removal on the even side where all cars were plowed in. There are mounds of rock hard snow literally in the middle of the street, as Im sure throughout the city. Don't waste tax dollars paying DOT workers OT to go out and do a job twice that could obviously be done right the first time!
  • Signs removed Archived
42 Hubinger St. New Haven, Connecticut - Edgewood

Over the weekend signs were posted on trees and utility poles for street sweeping...last night they were removed and my car was towed this morning.

I am well aware street sweeping occurs every fourth Monday according to the permanent sign in front of the house I live in. However what I do not understand nor appreciate is the inconsistency of which side of the street the city will sweep. Hand held signs stating what side will be sweeped are tacked onto trees and utility poles lining the street. The side does not always correlate with the permanent sign. It changes all of the time and now I have to pay a fee in order to get my car back. I have lived here for three years and not once have I ever been towed because of this. I realize this is the last Monday of the season for street sweeping but please adhere to the signs posted by the city.
