6933-6951 Old Westham Road Richmond, Virginia - Stratford Hills

I previously posted this issue in September. It was referred to Engineering and apparently vanished into their files.

This road is more pothole and patches than actual road. Several potholes are at the intersection of Old Westham and Hathaway Road. The storm drains are always filled with dirt and debris. This road needs corrective action or it will fail.

  • 1753-1799 High Point Avenue Richmond, Virginia - Scott's Addition

Recently there were parking spaces installed along the apartment building on the road allowing vehicles to park perpendicular to the curb. This has reduced the effective width of the road to less than zoning minimums. It has created a bottleneck of traffic and a danger to passing vehicles since no curb was installed with the spaces. Please review for code compliance.

The lines appear to be spray paint.

  • Repave Road Archived
6933-6951 Old Westham Road Richmond, Virginia - Stratford Hills
This road is in terrible condition. It is failing completely and has more patches than original asphalt. I have contacted various city agencies to get Old Westham repaved and properly repaired to no avail. Please advise. What do we need to do to get this road repaved, not simply patched.
  • 2908 Cherokee Road Richmond, Virginia - Stratford Hills
This lot is completely overgrown and is obstructing driver vision from the adjacent business. The structure is also abandoned and is falling down. It appears to be home to wild animals and vagrants.
  • 1715 High Point Avenue Richmond, Virginia - Scott's Addition
This vacant building continually has overgrown sidewalks and weeds coming from every crack in the pavement.
  • 6933-6951 Old Westham Road Richmond, Virginia - Stratford Hills
This road from the edge of the McDonalds parking lot to the intersection with Hathaway is more pothole than road. New potholes open weekly and are at times over 6" deep. This section of road is in desperate need of attention or it will fail completely.
  • 1700 Summit Ave Richmond, VA - Scott's Addition
The property around the building is overgrown. The sidewalks are becoming overgrown and are littered with glass and trash. The sidewalks are almost to the point where you can't walk on them.
  • 6836 Old Westham Rd Richmond, VA - Stratford Hills
In the west bound lane, closest the service station, there is a pothole that is several inches deep.
