Markings Acknowledged5320 Cedarwood Drive Raleigh, NC, 27609, USA - Raleigh Council District AThis sign is posted at the last block of Sweetbriar going north to Cedar Hills Park. The road rises slightly, then descends down and bends left to the park entrance. Visibility range is short, also reduced by cars parked on the street. This is a residential neighborhood with small children, plus kids on bikes going to the park, and a speed limit of 35 is excessive and unsafe.

Street Landscaping Archived5412 Sweetbriar Dr Raleigh, North Carolina, 27609 - Raleigh Council District ASAFETY HAZARD - dangerous large branch hanging from tree right across the street from 5412 Sweetbriar.
-
5400 Cedarwood Dr Raleigh, North Carolina, 27609 - Raleigh Council District ATree roots have raised the concrete 4 inches. This is a serious safety issue, especially for young moms pushing children in strollers. This tree has been a problem for years and is also destroying the curb and road surface. The tree needs to be removed and the damage repaired as soon as possible.

Street Light Out Archived5600 Sweetbriar Dr Raleigh, NC, 27609, USA - Raleigh Council District ALight #9 near Picnic gazebo is filled with leaves from an abandoned squirrel nest and very little light is produced by the device. It is also partly obstructed by nearby tree branch which should probably be cut back.

Parks Ground Service Archived5600 Sweetbriar Drive Raleigh, NC, 27609, USA - Raleigh Council District ABasketball court needs an update. It's a grubby facility and one of the two lights is out. The tennis courts have been well-maintained but the basketball court has been ignored. I've met some of the kids who play there and they are good kids who deserve a better facility, in my opinion.

Park Maintenance Acknowledged5600 Sweetbriar Dr Raleigh, NC, 27609, USA - Raleigh Council District AAbout half way on the first tee, there is a large tree broken about a foot above ground that is leaning toward the picnic shelter. It cracked loudly when I was there earlier today and if the tree falls (it's leaning on other trees now) it will land on the shelter.

Street Light Out Archived5600 Sweetbriar Raleigh, North Carolina - Raleigh Council District AMost lights were recently repaired. This one was overlooked. Appears to be full of leaves; probably a nest of some sort. This is a safety issue since the area has an unpaved walkway that is uneven. Light does not have an identifying number.

No Parking Sign obstructed Archived409 Northclift Raleigh, North Carolina - Raleigh Council District ASign is unreadable due to moss/dirt, etc. Sign could probably be cleaned. Same sort of problem with several signs in the area, but this one is the worst.

Street Light Out ArchivedCedar Hills Park 5600 Sweetbriar Dr Raleigh North Carolina - Raleigh Council District A
Park lights in lot and walkways are erratic. They come on and then turn off randomly. One light is on the high end of the parking lot, and the other is halfway between the parking lot and the tennis courts.
The light between the parking lot and the tennis court has a number '8' on it. There is another light further down the path toward courts #3 and #4 that does not work at all and has no number on it.
