The speeding continues on Laurel Avenue. It has gotten better since the 4 way stop sign however I am witnessing too many vehicles blowing through the signs when they are going up or down Laurel Avenue especially in the dark, is it possible they don't see the signs? Could we add the blinking lights to draw attention to them? Those who are speeding will continue to speed I'm sure but maybe this can stop a few. Last night I witnessed a disturbing sight, a person made a right turn ignoring the sign and then pulled over right on the corner, got out of his car and urinated on the street. When it's dark I wish I didn't have to walk my dog but unfortunately I have to.

Any plan to clear the walkways to be able to cross the streets, its impossible, there are large mounds of snow that you have to climb over some worse than others.

I haven't seen this area since last night but the sewers on Alpine and Laurel and Washington are completely clogged with leaves.

The stop sign on Laurel and Hillcrest is down on the sidewalk and on the other side of the street its leaning.

On Laurel and Hillcrest the two stop signs on the west side are leaning especially the one on the SW side that has the street signs on top it appears as it may fall.

Is there going to be a 4 way stop on Laurel and Hillcrest as I see one has been installed on Washington and Hillcrest. We have been asking for this for a very long time on Laurel.

Is traffic being diverted onto Laurel Ave from Passaic Avenue? I feel like I live in Schuyler Ave. Also the amount of trucks grows daily, all kinds of trucks, just had a shoprite truck pass by. It is 8:30 and this has been for about 1 1/2 hours now.

There is a very large branch hanging from this tree it is not connected to the tree but suspended and connected to other branches. If this falls someone is going to get hurt. The top of the tree has no leaves. I know there is a lot going on after the storm but could you add this tree to the list to be checked?

Does anyone know what happened to all the geese in the parks along the River in Kearny? They were there all the time. I still see them in Harrison but none in Kearny?

I am working from home due to the tragic situation we all find ourselves in with this virus. However, being home all day I am seeing quite a few trucks coming up Laurel Ave. The drivers are ignoring the "no truck" sign. There is no reason for dump trucks to be coming up this block neither is a truck delivering to a store, there are no store until you get to Kearny Avenue. This is not a safe situation especially more so now that all the children are out of school.

There is a squirrel that was hit by a car close to Hillcrest on Washington.

The person delivering the Star Ledger in the morning speeds , doesn't stop at stop signs and drives on the wrong side of the road to make the deliveries. Also cuts around the corners so close to the curb that I have to back up quickly. I walk my dog at about 5am daily, I am visible but had to pull back twice when trying to cross at Hillcrest and Washington and then again at Laurel and Hillcrest as he speeds up and down the blocks. To make his deliveries on the north side of Laurel instead of going down the hill he comes up the hill and crosses over to the wrong side where he has left two animals dead in the street. I have had to call animal control twice so far. You can't get his attention because his radio is blasting. He probably doesn't see us because he has his interior lights on and he is looking at his papers on the passenger seat. If paying attention you can see us walking as my dog has a leash that lights up. So I am taking necessary precautions when out in the dark. He needs to slow down.

Once again a car was hit and severely damaged on Laurel Avenue between Passaic and Hillcrest. I have lost count as to the amount of times this has happened from cars speeding up or down Laurel Avenue. I fear crossing the street. Please consider a 4 way stop sign on Hillcrest and Laurel.

The sewer is still completely stopped up with leaves, dirt and mud at the corner of Laurel and Alpine. The sewer on Alpine and Washington was cleaned out.

The sewer on the corner of Laurel and Alpine is so clogged with leaves and now dirt which was mud the other day during the rain and will be again this weekend, could this be cleaned out? There are other sewers that are clogged with leaves also in the area.

I am at 76 Laurel, several people across the street from us have EMA Landscaping blowing their leaves. They do so all over everyone else's property, so unless you can afford to hire them you come home from work to a mess. I wanted to call them myself to ask them not to do this but can't find a phone number.
