The traffic lines on Central St look like they were painted by the kids from Purpose School.

I can't believe that this is the towns solution to the double yellow lines. Do you know what looks worse than double yellow lines??? A giant black streak. I am hosting Christmas at my home this year and I have family and friends coming from several different states and I am embarrassed by the appearance of my street. Who ever made this decision should be ashamed of themselves and have their neighborhood humiliated like mine was.

Now that the construction season is upon us and there has been talks of replacing and repairing sidewalks, can the town please do something about Flint Ave. The sidewalks do not meet the standard for the Americans with Disabilities Act and there are many families that live in the Flint/Rowe neighborhood with young children. During the commuting hours Flint Ave is used as a cut through and becomes a treacherous street for children and mothers pushing strollers to cross because of decrepit sidewalks. Flint Ave sees a significant amount of foot traffic not only because of the residents but also the two office buildings at the top of the street and Stop and Shop. Due to the horrible conditions of the side walks people are forced to walk in the street which creates a significant hazard given the amount of vehicle traffic. If The Town decided that Felspa Rd, a dead end met the criteria for new sidewalks then I'm sure that you will find that Flint Ave exceeds any formula used in deciding which streets get new sidewalks.

Can the town/police please do something about the panhandlers at the intersection of Main St and Elm St. Earlier today there was a car involved in what someone reported as a roll over accident. Not sure if the panhandlers were partly to blame but they definitely create a safety hazard when they walk between cars aggressively staring at you looking for money. They're usually out there when school is getting out and remain there until after rush hour. Not only does it become a safety issue but they also tie traffic up by standing in the way of cars trying to clear the intersection. Other times they stand at the widows of cars while the driver fumbles to find change to put in the bucket and then the light goes from green to red. This has happened to me on several occasions and has created a longer commute time often times infuriating me and the other drivers on the road. There must be something the police can do or some type of law that prevents people from standing in the street creating a hazard and blocking traffic.
