This is not a private light. It was put up by the city to fight crime in the neigborhood -- as was the other 'security light' reported across street at 72 Dwight looking into Rainbow Park. Do you still want me to call Ui?

BTW the city has a useful 'citizen alert' system, which pushes out useful updates (via email and telephone) during emergencies; however you need to sign up/register at: http://www.cityofnewhaven.com/EmergencyInfo/index.asp
Mayor has suspended garbage pick up for this week. Resumes next week.
as of 12/18 this pile of Hurricane Sandy brush/debris is still sitting on sidewalk awaiting pick-up. #fail
