Graffiti removed, but only after directly tweeting @phillyantigraffiti.
Window is still open and unsecured as of 11/23/2011. Basement gate is still broken and extremely dangerous. Please address.
Graffiti was removed, but only after a direct tweet to @phillyantigraffiti.
It would be great to see some greening there, too.
Sam thank you for your concern and maturity. For the record, my posts here are as an individual, not as any organization. Secondly, as a resident I am concerned about my neighborhood. A few years ago my elderly neighbor had to be evacuated from her home for several months after unpermitted construction next door compromised the structural integrity of her home. While I welcome development, I only wish to see work that is done both well and legally.
Glad to see you getting involved, Mo Cheeks. Dumping is illegal and filthy. And since the entire block is concerned with the rats, squirrels, stray cats and bums that the trash attracts, maybe it's time for people to start putting there trash out on trash day (every Wednesday). Being dirty and nasty doesn't have to be part of city living, and it's not going to be part of mine without complaint.
Still there as of 10/18/11. Originally reported back in May. Can we please have this removed?
This place is a hot mess. There's no way anyone should be living there.
Seriously, this is the fifth time this has been posted since May. Could we please get this removed?
It's coming from the tenants at 1515 Tasker Street and possibly a few residents on the 1500 block of Hicks. 1515 Tasker was finally getting tickets, then the started putting the trash in the alley next to the house. It doesn't even make sense, because they have access to outdoor trash cans to store their trash until trash day. Would love to try the "No Dumping" flyers in the meantime.
Majd B., are you with the City?
While the original graffiti was removed, there is now a new tag in it's place.
This has been going on for YEARS! Can we please apply the rules of the road to everyone? It's the shop owners (from Jersey), and they park there every day.
This issue has been reported months ago. Remains unresolved as of 9/1/11.
The tires and bulk of trash have been removed, however, this property continues to be a problem. Trash is constantly piling up on the side of this property.
Still there as of 5/31/11.
Is it possible to also investigate the zoning of this building? Suspect that there are more apartment units in use than the property is zoned for.
Would it be possible to investigate the building's zoning? It's possible it's an illegal apartment or being used as a boarding home rather than actual apartments. According to a BRT search, it's zoned as single family. http://opa.phila.gov/opa.apps/Search/SearchResults.aspx?id=7672001423
Still there as of 5/25/11.
