  • 971 34th St Oakland CA 94608, United States - Hoover-Foster
Looking at SeeClickFix, the community has been reporting this abandoned vehicle since at least Sept 2022 and nothing has been done If anything, the situation has gotten worse as the vehicle accumulates more and more trash and dumping along side and on top of the vehicle
  • 931 34th St Oakland CA 94608, United States - Hoover-Foster
Newly abandoned vehicle has no license plates, the make and model have been stripped from the car and multiple flat tires It has a street sweeping parking ticket so it's been here at least a week but it's obvious this van has been dumped here ,
  • 3327 Market St Oakland CA 94608, United States - Hoover-Foster
This intersection is very dangerous and we see a major car accident, often with injuries, a few times per month if not weekly The challenge is the freeway on-ramp is there, so those driving down 35th are moving at high speed, but those heading north on Market have a blind spot to 35th street So when cars try to turn right from Market onto 35th or the 24, it's hard to see the oncoming traffic speeding down 35th, resulting in frequent accidents At a minimum the intersection needs a "No turn on red" sign and the bush at the corner that obstructs the view should be trimmed or removed, but this intersection could also use some speed reduction elements
  • 900 34th St Oakland CA 94608, United States - Hoover-Foster
Two vans have been parked here for ~2 weeks with multiple people living here Groups of people visit the vans and hang out on the sidewalk, upwards of 8-10+ congregating here Our block already has at least two other homeless encampments in their cars, not to mention the big encampments under the underpasses on Market and West
  • 927 34th St Oakland CA 94608, United States - Hoover-Foster
Can we please get someone to remove these abandoned vehicles before it gets worse? It started with one big pickup truck with a bed of trash that we all reported last year and is still accumulating garbage, and now we have this abandoned cargo truck with graffiti a few yards away This is unacceptable We have a day care, church, fire house directly across the street, neighborhood kids have to walk past this to Hoover elementary on the next block Come on, Councilwoman Fife- you said things would be different in this neighborhood with you in charge but they're only getting worse! Step up or move on, please
  • 923 34th St Oakland CA 94608, United States - Hoover-Foster
This truck has been parked here for months with no movement and an increasing amount of debris It's starting to become a place that attracts more illegal dumping because it's obviously abandoned and with a big truck bed perfect for more dumping There have been numerous street sweeping tickets placed on windshield but not sure why parking enforcement wouldn't have dealt with this already This is right in front of a church and fire station, it seems like a big hazard that has the potential to eventually block the street And since it never moves for street cleaning, a lot of tree debris has accumulated under the truck, making it ripe for a fire
  • 899 34th St Oakland CA 94608, United States - Hoover-Foster
Pedestrians can barely pass on the sidewalk because this abandoned suv and accompanying trash is attracting an increasing amount of illegal dumping It's to the point now that we have to walk our two little kids in the street to get past that area because the sidewalk is almost inaccessible Added danger because it's right at the corner near intersection of 34th and Market- so lots of traffic turning onto that street, which makes walking in the street especially dangerous
  • 881 30th St Oakland 94608, United States - Hoover-Foster
Unbelievable mess. How much more dumping are we gonna allow in this neighborhood? Another unusable sidewalk.
  • 684–756 27th St Oakland 94612, United States - Hoover-Foster
Broken toilet, couch, a bunch of trash just taking up the sidewalk.
  • 937-943 34th Street Oakland, California - Hoover-Foster
Someone abandoned a trailer full of trash on the street and it's been there for over 48 hours
  • 3518 Magnolia Street Oakland, California - Clawson
This is freaking unbelievable! I've seen some horrible dumping in this neighborhood but this really takes illegal dumping to new heights. And adding insult to injury - it's literally directly across the street from the homeless encampment. If the city is going to pay to provide the encampment with services, shouldn't the residents of the camp at least be expected to police their own community and if they can't stop people from illegal dumping, be held responsible for keeping the area clean?! I don't understand how I have to pay to live in my house - mortgage, taxes, upkeep, etc. - but we are just gonna give people a free pass. Where is our councilmember when all of this is happening? Is there illegal dumping this bad near her house?
  • 400 Market Street Oakland, California - Old City-Produce And Waterfront
This mess is disgusting and growing, spilling out into the intersection. People are living in this filth and adding to it daily. How is it legal for this dumping to be allowed to grow beyond the sidewalk and into traffic? This is unsafe and unsanitary.
  • 900-934 34th Street Oakland, California - Hoover-Foster
This stretch of 34th street between san pablo Ave and market st is in dire need of speed bumps. The cars driving down this street approach speeds of 60+ mph from both directions all times of the day and night. This is a residential neighborhood with families, churches and a daycare. It's only a matter of time before a fatal accident occurs here. Who do we speak to in the city administration to get speed bumps added here?
  • 943 34th St Oakland, California - Hoover-Foster
Not sure why this area is such a hot spot for illegal dumping but someone fixed their car in the street and decided to leave their hood on the sidewalk in someone's driveway. This area is out of control with the dumping!
