    60 Whalley Avenue New Haven, Connecticut - Dwight
    The quarter mile section of Springside Ave from Common Ground HS south has been a nightmare of potholes, broken asphalt and crevices for a few years. The section needs torn up and repaved. A high number of school busses need to crawl through this section twice a day. You can see the busses jolting as they maneuver the holes. Vehicles frequently use an oncoming lane to avoid the destroyed pavement on the other side of the road.
  • 1838-1846 Chapel Street New Haven, Connecticut - Westville
    A permanent traffic signal is needed at the intersection of Yale Ave and Chapel St. to slow traffic. There is a blinking light there now but it is useless. Cars travel at a high rate of speed on Chapel between Grasso and Central Ave. Police monitoring is useless. Once the police are gone, the speeding starts immediately. Complicated intersection because Yale crosses Chapel at an odd angle. I have spoken about this to our last 4 alderpersons. No action.
