I live in a corner lot, at the intersection of Barton Avenue and East Norwood Avenue. I have 3 little kids who play around the front of my house. It is a residential zone and the posted speed limit is 25 Miles per hour. Every day there are people who drive along without regard to the STOP sign on Norwood avenue as well as people who drive in excess of 50 MPH on Barton. There are cars parked along the street and the drivers sometime disregard them and end up breaking the side mirrors of the cars parked. There has been numerous petitions that I have signed for the city officials to put a couple of Speed breakers both on Barton Avenue and E. Norwood Avenue to slow down the traffic and ensure a safer neighborhood.
