  • Mid Back Lot Of 4300 Lake Jeanette Directly Across From 100 Pineburr Rd Greensboro, North Carolina - Greensboro
The concrete in this Lake Jeanette Rd area is crumbling (and almost ruined my mower blade) due to the high volume of heavy construction vehicle traffic. Across the street at 100 Pineburr Rd is a pothole and mid-street a patched pothole. The road concrete is crumbling along the Lake Jeanette Rd side of Pineburr Rd due to a significant heavy construction trucks with equipment traveling by and (very bad) parking on the soft shoulder of the the Lake Jeanette side of Pineburr Rd.

If and unfortunately a dead cat or dog is asked to be picked up, is the owner notified per name tag or animal chip scan? I very much want to have the bodies of my pets cremated.

Since ~2 years ago when Lake Jeanette was widened & curb/gutter and sidewalk were put in, I at 4300 Lake Jeanette Rd was made to move my driveway from Lake Jeanette to Pineburr Rd. It was understood that the existing gravel driveway from Lake Jeanette to the 1st drive left on Pineburr Rd was to be sufficiently seeded so as to obscure the no longer useful driveway. The grass planted has not sufficiently grown to expectations. I have kept thinking that if I am patient and wait a year or so, it would fill in. I've attached a photo of the side of my house and gravel driveway before the road widening, curb and gutter placement. Additionally, when it rains the water runs downhill from the sidewalk and pools, sometimes for days. See attached photo. Prior to DOT intervention, there was a natural ditch that ran down the front of the property and I did not have any water related issues. I am formally requesting that a DOT agent (or legal spokesperson) come to observe my property. As there was no water drainage placed at the corner of Lake Jeannette & Pineburr Rd, every time it rains, water runs down from Lake Jeanette thru my carport and into my barn. I have had to throw away many items that once wet, are no longer usable. Water also runs down into my yard and pools, sometimes for days (see photo) While not wanting to be unduly unfair, once the DOT rep sees what I'm talking about, I believe he/she will agree that the way my property was left is insufficient. Additionally the grass planted over my former driveway has many bear spots and needs reseeding. Please call me at your first opportunity to schedule an onsite inspection of described issues. My phone # is (336) 681-6688. If I'm unable to take your call, please leave a message including your name and slowly/succinctly spoken phone # and I will return your call as soon as possible. Sincerely, Vicki Vance

~One month ago the city painted lines in my front yard and planted yellow and orange flags along the same vicinity. I was not notified to expect this or why. While the painted lines have been mowed away, my yard man has allowed the flags to remain. Please inform as to why they have been placed in my yard as I have not seen anyone digging.and advise.
