The road is filled with issues from small potholes to larger issues from Vincent Street to Broadus Street. This has been an ongoing issue for several years. This section of roadway traffic is only second to Crystal Beach Ave and Vincent St. It is used by resident travel, delivery trucks, sanitation truck and various delivery trucks not to mention local bike, walking, and go cart travel. This is issue has been reported for the past ten plus years, with the promises that the Penny For Pinellas would eventually have enough funds to repave the entire roadway. I guess that the promises that Dave Eagers assured the residents was another political lie. So, after another ten years, we the taxpayers are back to square one. How about some true action by the county, or perhaps give the taxpayers a tax break. After almost twenty years of being a resident, I have had enough and so have my neighbors. Some type of honest action would truly be appreciated.

Low hanging tree limbs. Any large truck strikes the limbs when it passes. Emergency vehicles will have a difficult time passing also. Problem is in front of 404 Pennsylvania Ave.

The flooding issue at the intersection of Pennsylvania Ave & Broadus St has been a ongoing issue. Last year a crew was sent to try and correct the problem by using a front loader to clean the east side of Broadus St. A ditch was cleaned and new sod planted. However the two floor areas have no way to drain into the ditch. You don't need a engineering degree to see what is needed to solve the problem. Now governmental agencies urge the clearing of standing water, and these two locations has standing water which last for three to five days, depending how much sun is effective for evaporation. Now mosquitos are being observed, which could lead to the dreaded Zika Virus. This now a issue that must be addressed, and a issue that has been ignored for years.

Repeated road flooding on Broadus near Pennsylvania. Reported also in August 2015. This photo taken on 1/28/2016. During the summer this problem attracts mosquitoes. We county trucks by the problem, with no action being taken. It is bad enough the streets are terrible, but now we have to deal with water covering the entire street.

Flooding and constant standing water at 399 Broadus St at the corner of 401 Pennsylvania Ave. This issue has been ongoing for seven plus years. Crews come out to look, then get back in their trucks and leave. A smart and simple fix could be done, and needs to be done. Mosquito's have become a big problem due to this standing water. On a normal rain, it take three to fours days for the water to drain off.
