School previously reassured 311 that they would speak to the trash service but there is no change - milk and food waste was poured all over the alley this morning (photo attached). Tonight 2 large rats were eating the waste and only moved as I drove up. There is a severe rat problem in the alley and the spilled food around the school's back gate is worse than the restaurants in the area. Will continue to escalate until resolved - this is causing a health hazard for residents because it is attracting the rats.

Sidewalk Repair Acknowledged790 Irving St Nw Washington, DC 20010, USA - Columbia HeightsThe north side of the 700 block of Irving has multiple sunken/raised areas of sidewalk - this is in violation of the ADA - a wheelchair or stroller cannot pass on the north corner (Sherman Ave/Irving) people have tripped and fallen on this corner. It is unsafe for all but impassable for elderly /disabled residents. This serves as notice to DC govt that the area presents an extreme hazard to pedestrians, has resulted in injury and may result in severe injury in the future

Traffic Signals Investigation Archived2108 Vermont Ave Nw Washington, DC 20001, USA - Columbia HeightsA walk signal box has been placed at the cross walk from the turn from Florida into Vermont. However, there is no accompanying traffic light until further down Vermont Ave. This creates a dangerous situation where pedestrians are being indicated that it safe to walk but drivers are not being given a stop signal. Suggest urgent attention by DOT.
