On the S side of this intersection along Sportsman, before the stop, there is very little shoulder for bikes as the road turns. This can push you into the gravel on the shoulder, which is loose, and now there are also huge dips - over 1 ft deep. I saw a little guy wiped out on his bike there last month, and today followed him, as I was pushed onto the gravel shoulder as a car came very close. then went into a dip and crashed. If that shoulder could be graded to just flat dirt (no gravel) it would probably work, widening it with asphalt would be even better.
