These limbs have been on this street for at least 3 weeks, the trash I don't know. but this is the type of city service that we require but we don't get. Asking people to bundle those types of limbs is asking a whole lot.

Why are Detroiters paying drainage fees? Thank you WDIV. As you can see, the basins were not thoroughly cleaned and that may be over the entire city of Detroit or at least in areas like this.

I'm going to assume that basins all over the city of Detroit have not been vacuumed out. The image that is located on Montgomery and Holmur. I have complained to Gary Brown and to the Mayor about this problem for more than 5 years and the City of Detroit remains derelict in its duties. This problem could easily be taken care of by the city of Detroit. In the budget for the water department, I'm sure clearing out basins are included. what line item includes cleaning out basins.?

WHAT IS A RESIDENT, TAX PAYING CITIZEN SUPPOSED TO DO WHEN THE CITY REFUSES TO TAKE CARE OF JUST THE BASIC THINGS THAT MAKE OUR LIVES MUCH MORE BETTER?

In May 2023, the City of Detroit announced the launch of the Dead, Dangerous, and Diseased Tree program, which will allow residents to report trees on their private property they feel need to be trimmed or removed. If the trees qualify, they will be trimmed or removed, with no charge to the resident. The program will be funded with up to $8.3 million, $5 million from the FY 22-23 budget surplus and an additional $3.3 million allocated in the FY 23-24 budget, both approved by City Council.

I reached out to the city of Detroit by way of online as advised by the city and still no response. I want to know what happened to that 8.3 million, how many trees were taken care of and I want to know every single address where trees were taken down or trimmed with the 8.3 million. Again we need, I need every address.

Jameson elementary School owned now by a white Lithuanian couple who also owns a house directly across the street at 2914 pingree and the trash that I have provided for you all needs to be taken care of. however, I am requesting that this couple lose the right to have any property here in the city of Detroit and black people should get first dibs on it.
  • 2982 W Euclid St Detroit, MI 48206, USA - US Congressional District MI13
I know it's shameful that people put this out, but the city is responsible for making sure that its residents are safe and this definitely is not safe for not only the environment but for our psyches.
  • 2912 Virginia Park St Detroit, MI 48206, USA - US Congressional District MI13
now I know that this may appear to be small stuff, but it really isn't any kind of dumping in our city is Major and those who are doing it especially those who are cleaning out these homes must be held accountable.
  • 3209 Columbus St Detroit, MI 48206, USA - US Congressional District MI13
Since the illegal dumping bill has not been passed house bill 4084, I would suggest that the city do its residents a huge favor and have all of this dumping picked up on a regular basis especially when it's not in front of our houses. We should not have to live like this.

I have reported this location many many many times and the city of Detroit continues to ignore our pleas.
