    The chain link fence at the play yard had been pushed out during snow plowing the year before last. The piping has also been dislodged. Can this get put back together before the start of this school year? Thank you.

    Hi, There is a small deep pothole in front of 27 Summer St. Cars hitting it are beginning to rattle house windows. Next time your pothole crew is out, it would be appreciated if they could get this one.

    The sidewalk plow has been doing a great job by the South school area. They have cleared Summer Street and Main Street very well. Unfortunately the intersection at Main and Summer Street in front of the convenience store has been missed.
    This is a heavily used Crossing area by the crossing guards and school children. There is no other place to walk now except through the parking lot of the store or on Main Street itself. I'm guessing the reason this might not have been cleared is that there is a trash barrel in the middle of the sidewalk which prevents the sidewalk plow from clearing the area. Could this be addressed before the school day on Monday. Thank you.

    There is a vehicle parked completely across the sidewalk on Pine Street at the apartment building near Hancock Street. Could you please check on this and see if we can get it moved so the students can have access without walking in the street.

    This issue was reported last week, and the police said they issued a violation. Again this car continuously blocks the same spot on the sidewalk. I hate to ask the police to go down and have to address this issue again, but it seems this guy doesn't get the message.

    Could we get this car moved off the sidewalk on Pine Street near Hancock. It is completely blocking the sidewalk making it necessary to walk in the street to get by. Thank you.

    A large section of sidewalk was torn up during a project a while ago in front of 17 Summer Street. This is a very busy sidewalk next to the south school. If the project has been completed, could you get the surface put back together.

    I drove to a local restaurant last night and parked in the municipal parking lot on Franklin Street by the square. I was amazed at how much broken glass and trash was strewn all over the lot. I know this town is going through a growth spurt, but we need to be careful not to let it turn into a trashy little town but instead maintain a pretty community. I've been to other local communities and used their parking areas and have never seen anything like this. I live on a side street in town and the street sweepers do a great job keeping the sand off the road. I would much rather see a little extra effort put into these high visibility parking areas. Walking through a trash filled parking lot after visiting our stores and restaurants is not a nice way to end your visit to Stoneham.
