Here we go again, and again, and again. The traffic light at Wildwood Rd & First Colonial Rd (east side heading west) is still broke. I sat thru 3 light cycles today before it decided to turn green even though the west side, heading east, turned green and let vehicles thru every time and there were no emergency vehicles to interrupt the cycle. Ever since the new medical building was openened this traffic light has been an issue and has had many complaints forwarded to your department although nothing ever seems gets done about it. When will this issue be looked at and resolved? How many complaints do you need before something is done? The traffic is unbearable getting out of the neighborhood with all of the folks leaving the new medical building and the other medical buildings next door in addition to the folks that live in the neighborhood trying to leave. Not to mention that when the light does turn green it never stays green enough to let out more than 5 vehicles. Let's do something about it please!

First Colonial Rd & Wildwood Dr Virginia Beach, VA, 23454, USA - Northeast
The traffic signal at First Colonial Road and Wildwood Drive, Westbound, skips turning green almost every other cycle leaving a long line of vehicles trying to exit the neighborhood. This has been happening ever since the new medical office was built and the road repaved. It does not happen to the signal across the street heading Eastbound. It's bad enough that the light cycle is very short with all of these vehicles trying to leave but in addition we have all of the emergency vehicles changing the light cycles going to and from the hospital along with the fire engines and EMS from Station 8. And note that this happens all day, every day. Please fix this traffic signal!

So now the light at Va. Beach Blvd. and Cranston Lane is constantly turning red all day and night with no tragffic coming out of it. It's already a very long light as it is with pedestrian crossing timer there for Hall Jeep/Chrysler so there is no reason it has keep turning red when no traffic is there to turn onto the boulevard or pedestrian's to cross the street. Please adjust.

There is a light on a utility pole at the Hardee's at Great Neck and Va. Beach Blvd. that someone has adjusted so it when it's dark it is very blinding to drives going westbound. The light faces eastward down Laskin Road. Can someone please adjust this light so it is not blinding to drivers early in the morning when it is dark outside?

The traffic signal at Laskin Road and Regency Drive is constantly red for Laskin Road traffic, at least early in the mornings at 0 dark thirty. For some reason the light facing the feeder road on the south side of Laskin Road is always green and there is never any traffic coming from there. Please adjust this light.

This traffic light turns red all the time at Byrd Lane and Va Beach Blvd while there is no traffic coming out of Byrd Lane or Lowe's. Then, the turn light for east bound traffic turning onto Byrd lane turns green while nobody is in the turn lane. This just holds up west bound traffic every day and has been happening for months. Please adjust this light. It's the exact same issue that was happening at Regency Hilltop which finally seems to have been resolved. Thank you!

Reposting since nothing is getting done...

Well I'm back to address an old issue that keeps popping up constantly. It has to do with the traffic light at Regency Hilltop Shopping Center. Why is it that this light stays red for traffic going east and west bound on Laskin Road most of the time? The cars coming out of the shopping center are at an advantage with the green light but at 5am in the morning there are hardly any cars leaving the shopping center. And then when the light does turn green for Laskin Road traffic the turn light for east bound cars into the shopping center comes on when there are NO cars turning which just delays west bound traffic even more. And this is only the start. Then by the time you get to Great Neck Road that light is red. As soon as you get thru that light, the light at Byrd Lane turns red with no traffic. Get thru that light then the light at Hutton Lane turns red with no traffic there. Same at Lynnhaven Parkway, then Mustang trail, then Yorktown Ave, then North Lynnhaven. What should be a ten minute ride to work, for me anyway, is at least twenty minutes because of getting caught at every light for no reason. And I know there area lot of other drivers out there who go thru the same thing as me every day. So for those of you who are reading this, join me and complain. These light need to be adjusted so we can get to work on time, stop wasting gas and causing more pollution along the way.

The BB&T bank located at 930 First Colonial Road has installed safety lights so bright that it is blinding for folks traveling on First Colonial Road when it is dark out. I leave for work around 5am and it makes it ridiculously hard to see the road. The lights are facing northward and I am not sure if they have them on the south side or not. Would someone please investigate and discuss this with the bank? Thank you!

So now the traffic light at Yorktown Avenue is changing to red every day for no reason and it happens to be a very long light. Us folks trying to get to work are getting stopped here every day for no reason. Time frame I am talking about is around 5AM. Nobody is crossing Yorktown Avenue, the light just stays red on the boulevard for no reason while we waste gas. Please adjust this light.

Why does the traffic light coming out of SUPRALASE Laser Vision Center turn red every morning stopping traffic at 5:30 - 6:00 when they aren't even open that early in the morning? I/we get stopped there every morning with a red light although no traffic is coming out of the business at that time of day. Please adjust this light. Thank you!
  • Southall Drive At First Colonial Road Virginia Beach, Virginia - Northeast
Every day when I pull out of my neighborhood from Wildwood Drive and turn south on First Colonial Road the traffic light at Southall Drive turns red even when there are no cars at the light to turm off of Southall Drive. MAYBE, and I said MAYBE, once a week there MIGHT be a car there but that is very rare. Why does this light have to turn red and stop traffic when there are no cars coming from that direction? I have asked about this before as well as other See Click Fix users. This happens on quite a few of the side streets on Virginia Beach Boulevard as well. Please resolve this situation as it is a waste of time and gas. Thank You!!!

  • 2020 Laskin Rd Virginia Beach, Virginia - Virginia Beach city

On Laskin Road in front of Eastern Shore Chapel there is a rise or bump in the

road that gradually gets bigger over time. It was removed once before a couple

of years ago but is back again. It can really be felt if you drive a small car

or motorcycle and cannot be good for any vehicle that goes over it. It is

especially dangerous for motorcycles. Would you please look in to getting rid of

this nuisance? In addition there is another one of these rises in the road just

down the street in front of Chapel Lake Apartments.

This was reported by me on Dec 21, 2015, March 9, 2016 and May 4, 2016 and still has not been addressed as of yet making this the fourth time I have reported it. Each time you say that a work order has been opened but nothing gets done to fix it. Can someone please respond with an answer as to why nothing is being done about this issue?
