I've submitted this issue and updated it several times to no avail. I live on Twin Ponds and there is a very dangerous problem with the Birch trees specifically. The entire tops of these trees are dead and there are numerous branches hanging by a thread. I've cleared the trail too many times to count and luckily no one has been injured from these falling branches. There are at least 8 trees directly behind my house. Y'all sent an arborist out last year who said there was no problem. Hopefully you have a real arborist who would know that the Birch trees in WA have been affected by the Bronze Birch Borer disease. The Seattle Times did a great article about this back in 2016 and Kiro 7 did a story last year about this and the danger posed in city parks. Hard to believe the arborist didn't know about this huge problem. I love the park and trails around the two ponds but it is very treacherous right now. The vegetation is out of control also. I have seen a huge decrease in people walking around the park and lakes. The whole idea of the trail is for residents to enjoy nature with their friends and family. Unfortunately, this is not happening like it was. I worry that someone is going to be injured, especially a child or pet. I understand it is a huge job but if the really dangerous issues were resolved it would be a great relief. Not worth waiting until someone gets hurt or worse. Please allow this issue serious consideration and look into the diseased Birch tree problem so that it receives the attention it needs. Thank you so much.

All the Poplar trees around Twin Ponds are dead or dying and have been for months. An arborist came out last summer and said they were fine. Not even close. They are falling on the trail, in our yards and are going to seriously injure a person or pet if not trimmed promptly. I've personally picked up more branches the size of trees from my yard and behind my fence than I can count. Please come visit the trail around Twin Ponds and see how dangerous these dead trees and branches are. I will donate replacement trees from my yard and plant them myself to replace the ones that are removed. I see a dangerous situation ready to cause serious damage. Thank you for your attention to this issue.

The back of our house is located on Twin Ponds and there are several trees with large dead branches as well as entire dead trees. The problem is that they are hanging over our back yard as well as the much used trail directly behind our fence. They drop in our yard and we have a grandaughter who plays out there with her dog and if they were to fall on them it would cause serious injury. Not to mention the people who use the walking trail. I've picked up so many branches lately it's ridiculous. Some so big they will need to be cut with chainsaw. I've posted several times and receive emsil stating problem fixed. Never has been.

Tree branches and trees on trail around Twin Ponds and behind houses along the trail. There are many dead trees and tree tops overhanging our yard that are dangerous to people, pets and property. The recent windstorm brought down many large branches and trees landing in yards and on trail that is used by many residents. The largest branch missed damaging our fence but we have much cleanup to do and worry about the other unstable branches and trees.

Trees down, dead trees, dead branches and trees that need to be topped . There are many unstable trees and branches around Twin Ponds that are along the trail that is frequented by many walkers, pets and children. The trees and branches also overhang into our yard and many others and we have had branches falling that our very dangerous. The latest windstorm caused a very dangerous issue when it uprooted a tree a created a huge cave like hole approximately 20ft across 10ft high and 6-8ft deep. I've posted this issue several times and it keeps showing up under Pasco. I'm adding pictures to show how severe this problem can be.
