    My previous reports seem to disappear so I'm resubmitting. There's been furniture sitting in the alley for over 3 weeks. For some reasons the city is ignoring my requests. Initially the furniture was blocking the alley so we dragged it off to the side.

    This is my third request. It's been over 3 weeks. The city has removed other abandoned furniture in Oregon Hill but keeps ignoring us. Someone abandoned several pieces of furniture in the alley. Initially it blocked the alley so we dragged it off to the side. I'm attaching pictures.

    HELP! The city dropped off huge new green cans (for recycling today). Our neighborhood is an old townhouse community with very little front yard. The problem is that the new green cans are too big and there is (literally) no place to store these cans in the front yards.

    There's an uncovered 5" pvc pipe sticking up in the center of the sidewalk. It appears to be an uncovered pvc drain pipe. People trip on this all the time ... especially in the dark since this is a neighborhood where people walk a lot. Please repair the pvc 'drain' so that it's not a trip hazard before someone is severely injured. I attached a photo.

    426 S. Laurel St. Richmond, Virginia - Oregon Hill
    The alley behind 426 S Laurel St (where the alley connects to Spring St) has severe pot holes that make the alley impassable for cars. I attached a photo. In addition to the pot holes the entire surface has deteriorated to a dusty unhealthy 'air' hazard ... pick up trucks (from the high rise at the other end of the alley) speed down the alley every day raising clouds of dust. I also request the the alley be resurfaced (at least with gravel) in order to eliminate the air born health hazard. I also request that speed bumps be added to control the speed of vehicles on the alley.
