There is a tree that was uprooted from the previous rain storm and is lying on the power lines directly across from 5633 Hiland Avenue, Lanham, MD. Please have it removed before the power goes out. I've contacted BGE, Verizon and Comcast and the tree is still there.

Looking for help on how our community, in partnership with the Agricultural society, M-NCPP, PG County or others, can beautify our protected wetland. I have been in this community for nearly 30 years and would love to see our waterway return to the beautify habitat it once was. We have Scouts, 4-H members, Explores and other youth organizations in our neighborhood who would love to partner with someone to work on such a project.

Center Avenue - directly in front of Seaton A.M.E. Church; a historical landmark, needs to be repaved. This small strip of road has been patched and patched and patched. The patches only seem to last a few months before the holes return larger than before.

Why is our neighborhood being neglected. Our roads are in great need of repaving. I noticed the speed bumps on Baltimore lane have been patched but no repairs.

Please have an assestment made and notice sent to our civic association on when we can expect service to our historic community.

  • Maryland Street Lanham, Maryland - Glenn Dale

A bag of trash has been thrown at corner of Maryland Street and Glen Avenue.

Someone is also littering all along Maryland Avenue on the protected wetland side. There are tires, oil containers, car parts, mattresses, etc.

My concern is our neighborhood has been deemed a dump site and if we don't get help from the County in maintaining this and enforcing fines, we will be the local dump. HELP!!! Our wildlife is suffering.

How do we get speed humps, bumps or other speed slowing apparatus on our street. As summer approaches, cars are driving faster and faster. We have no sidewalks, so our residents have no option but to walk on the road and we need to be safe.

excess dumping of tires, traffic signs, bikes, tv's, etc. need to be removed to allow wildlife safe sanctity. in addition, the beaver continue to dam up the water tunnels thereby preventing a steady water flow between both sides of the waterway. lastly, the community is looking for help in beautifying this protected sanctity so county residents can watch, enjoy, & appreciate the vast array of wildlife that visit our area.
