A birder and dog walker

This wasn’t here yesterday and there were no high winds. It doesn’t seem like the park is safe anymore for walking. Please remove and check the other trees in College Woods.

Seems like Colleges Woods are now the dumping ground for wood debris. It was a NH truck that dumped this. An easy place to drop it but it may set a bad example for locals. Plus it’s an eyesore. Was a decision made to start using the park for this purpose?

Many large trees down across trails up to Mt. Whitney and archery field. Many hikers (a good thing) are having to walk around the obstacles causing substitute pathways and erosion. Could someone please open up the real trails before someone gets hurt. Thank you.

This happened yesterday - someone nearly got hit with a falling limb from this tree. Today the dangling one remains and there is no warning around the tree. Please take care of this - many people use this area of College Woods. It was wind which brought the other limb down yesterday - it will be wind that brings this one down. I know you are busy - but please ....

Holy cow - this just fell onto the park and a man had to run to avoid being hit. Would someone PLEASE come and check ALL the trees in College Woods and remove any lingering haunt branches before someone gets hurt. Thank you.

Really?!? Old kitchen cabinet doors and the grocery cart that brought them here. Off the dirt road at back of College Woods. New Haven need to make it easier for people to get rid of heavy trash. The cart is down the hill towards the river.

New Haven school bus #944 desperately needs a tuneup or exhaust repair. The bus leaves a dark gray cloud of noxious petroleum fumes behind it, which lingers long after the bus has passed by. This bus makes its rounds in the East Rock neighborhood.

Leaf clearing is almost done - lots of leaves remain along East Rock Park, Cold Spring st side on the hill and sidewalk. Please clear these before it snows! These are the city’s leaves.

High winds and rain have caused many limbs to fall over the last several days in College Woods, and more worrying, many broken limbs are caught in the trees ready to drop. Hazardous for everyone. Please arrange a walk-through to check the trees in College Woods for dead and loose branches and remove them. There are many on the ground too. Thank you.

Beautiful fireworks last night in East Rock Park, and great to see so many people out. Not great seeing all the trash left behind. The city is ignoring this resource. Everything from broken glass, fireworks boxes, soda cans, cardboard boxes, charcoal dumped next to trees - this in the park and on the streets around it. The maintenance of this park should not be left to the neighbors.

Extremely loud and disturbing noise from the HVAC unit at the school, this has been going on for two years. Am posting under City Responsibility. This HVAC started making the racket two years ago and should be addressed.

Something is wrong with the Wilbur Cross HS HVAC, which is making too much noise. Loud rumbling mechanical racket can be heard on Orange, Mitchell, in East Rock Park and on Cold Spring St. This is something relatively new but going on for a least a couple of months and it doesn't appear anyone is doing anything about the problem.
