    On Saturday afternoon a black BMW with paper temp tag ran directly over the pedestrian safety island on Womack Rd at DES and Lakeland Woods Ct Both traffic signs were torn out and crumpled Now there is no signage telling drivers not to hit the island, expect more cars damaged than pedestrians hit as school is out next week

    The black on white sign that indicates the pedestrian island in the middle of Womack Rd at the Lakeland Woods Ct / DES crossing has been knocked down. Both ways. Without the signs drivers at night have to look closely to see the island and not run into it.

    Two large pieces of dead pine tree, with trunk and branches, have fallen onto the sidewalk on Womack Rd and blocked it from use. Pedestrians and Dunwoody Elementary School students will have to step into the street to get around the obstruction. The location is the sidewalk on the north side of Womack Rd, between the Lakeland Woods Ct and Shadow Glen Ct. It is roughly opposite Windhaven Ct.

    Westbound radar sign for school zone is flashing for cars going over 25 mph at all hours. It should flash for over 25 at school travel hours and over 35 at all other hours. The value of the sign as a warning/alert to speeders is gone when (as it does today) it flashes at every car, most of which are obeying the speed limit. Please fix!
