  • 134 5th Street Ne Atlanta/Fulton, Georgia - Atlanta
The bike lane on 5th Street is probably the most used in the city. However, the city has been patching holes on it very poorly, resulting in raised bumps that are hazardous for cyclists. A few weeks ago a hole was filled on the south side bike lane of 5th in front of the alley right between Juniper and Piedmont. The patch is a huge lump. I see cyclists swerving into the travel lane to avoid it. This and riding over it are both dangerous. Please make the patch level with the street. Thanks.
  • 2-26 5th Street Northeast Atlanta, Georgia - Atlanta
There is a manhole cover right in the bike lane on the corner of 5th Street and W. Peachtree (on W. Peachtree). Cyclists turning from 5th onto W. Peachtree have to either go around the sunken cover, which puts them in to a traffic lane of high speed vehicles (including GRTA buses) or go on the inside, where the bike may strike the curb, causing a crash. If the cyclists rides over the sunken cover he/she may also crash. Please raise the manhole cover to the surface level of the road/bike lane. Thanks.
  • North Avenue Northwest Atlanta, Georgia - English Avenue
Many pedestrians and cyclists use the sidewalks on North Avenue under the bridge of Marietta Street to access Georgia Tech's campus and midtown (including MARTA) from the west side. The atmosphere under the bridge is dark and dusty, and the sidewalks haven't been cleaned/swept in years. It's a very unpleasant environment, possibly dangerous. Please address. Thanks.
