    Chapel Street between college and temple is an utter embarrassment. How does the city expect any businesses to stay open when we don't allow our guests in this city to be able to park and walk to the curb in a safe manner. This is an outrage and the city needs to fix this. It has been almost 2 weeks since the last significant snow and this roads is an utter disappointment.

    another issue of poor snow clearing. Schools have been closed for over a week and still there is 2+ feet of snow out into the street. At least I have an SUB but I almost slipped getting my kids out of the car. This has been a terrible display of execution by the city. Is there a single street in the city thAt was held to any standard of acceptability?

    The snow banks piled up along the streets are not only dangerous but a huge deterrent to downtown businesses. With parking meters in effect till 9pm, parking prices in garages and all the other uphill battles downtown businesses are fighting right now we deserve a better snow removal job than this. Not only did I almost fall 3 times, my wife couldn't even open her door enough to get out of the car! This was after already moving the car from another space because the snow came so far out into the street she would obstruct traffic! Someone needs to answer to the Temple and State street business owners for this.

    The lack of finishing the plowing job from last week is a huge issue with downtown parking. With more snow coming Thursday this needs to be addressed.

    Why have the parking spots on the street not been cleared out? This is a major street with bars-restaurants and nightlife.

    As a resident in the city, I know that we have taken great strides to increase the recycling we do in our homes, but why not in the streets. Between the plastic cups served from Starbucks and Dunkin donuts alone, we are throwing away a lot of plastic. Why cant we have recycle bins near some trash cans around the downtown area? When I asked the girl at Starbucks, she said the landlord wont pay for trash removal and recycling. That shouldnt stop New Haven outside the business though.

    The city of Hartford offers a free wi-fi signal all around the city. I think this could be helpful and useful to people around downtown. Maybe we could get some students to study and relax on the green instead of the homeless. Just a thought.
