DPW was to pick up dead bird today. Still
On sidewalk in front of my house. Someone may walk right on it. Thanks

Two barrels of leaves, small pieces of shrub that was trimmed, etc were not picked up today.

A large branch broke off a tree in front of 16 Rindgefield St. It is just laying there blocking the sidewalk. It's a good size branch. I think it took down some wires as Eversource was here that night (2 houses lost electric). You may want the arborist to look at the tree when he has some time. There are some other dead branches (look dead, no leaves) on the tree and that maybe should be cut off professionally, instead of breaking off in a storm and landing on a car or worse, someones head !! Thanks !!

The 'no parking' traffic sign is very loose and leaning way over, it must have been hit by a vehicle. IT is very dangerous as it could fall over and hit someone or a car/truck. IF it can't be fixed, perhaps it could be removed until the city starts working on 'non emergency problems'. Thanks.

The streetlight at the corner of Rindge Ave and end of Hollis Street is on all day/night. Not sure if you want it to be on during the day but I thought maybe the sensor is broken. The light in front of 12 Rindgefield was off 2 nights ago. It looked very dim yesterday. Perhaps someone has already looked at it but if not, it is not working correctly. Thanks ! Address states 107 Rindge but the light is on Hollis (last light before Rindge on odd side of street)

'No stopping' sign in front of 19 Rindgefield is leaning way over. It must have been hit by one of the large trucks dropping off supplies for total house renovation at 15 Rindgefield St. Can you do something about these trucks and/or trucks bringing/taking dumpsters at the house ? Our street is so narrow that these trucks are driving over the sidewalk and it is now crumbling. (fairly new sidewalk at large curve ). Some also have to back down the street when they realize they can't make the turn at corner of Rindgefield and Hollis. are there Any signs you have that would alert large trucks and moving vans about the turn onto Hollis being VERY tricky. Thanks !
  • 23 Hollis St Cambridge, MA, 02140, USA - North Cambridge
Yesterday, I submitted a request for a broken off traffic sign in front of 22-24 Hollis. This morning I saw that there is a broken traffic sign across the street, in front of 23 Hollis. Perhaps a huge truck was trying to turn around and knocked them down ??? Ha Anyway, they are a tripping hazard. Thanks so much !
  • 22 Hollis St Cambridge, MA, 02140, USA - North Cambridge
In front of 22-24 Hollis, a pole with a Tow Zone sign and also a little handicapped route sign (both on same pole) is lying on the ground. Looks like it was hit by a vehicle and broke right where pole goes into sidewalk.

There was a 15"-16" long piece of telephone pole in the street yesterday. They were working on a pole on Hollis St about a week ago but hadn't seen this until now. It also has a large metal piece sticking out of it. We moved it out of the street and placed it next to the double telephone pole in front of 24 Rindgefield.
  • 69 Rindge Ave Cambridge, MA, 02140, USA - North Cambridge
The sign for (street cleaning, snow route, or something like that) has fallen off the pole. Not sure how this happened as it looked like it is screwed in to the pole. This is at the corner of Rindge Ave and Rindgefield St.

Rindgefield Street still has a layer of packed snow/ice especially from Rindge Ave to the large curve by #17 Rindgefield. Doesn't appear that any ice melt was used the other day, plus that area of the street must not get
much sun on it. It would be great if this was cleaned up somehow before the next two storms. Thanks.
  • 11 Rindgefield St Cambridge, MA, 02140, USA - North Cambridge
It seems like there is a crack/hole in the street where a pothole was 'fixed'. Water is now coming threw the hole and water is flooding the street. It is flowing down to the storm drain but I think someone might want to look at it. Thanks !

The sidewalk is very dangerous for anyone walking on that side of the street. A tree might have been removed some time ago and now there is just dirt (no cement/asphalt). The sidewalk has buckled and is extremely uneven. Please have someone check out this situation. While they are on Rindgefield St, they should look at the other end of Rindgefield near intersection of Rindge (3 Rindgefield). The sidewalk there is very dangerous too....I believe because of tree roots. Thank you so much !

The light on the telephone pole in front of 22 Rindgefield St has not been 'attached' back on after some work that was done on the pole at least a month ago. Now that it is getting dark earlier, could we have the light back on ? It is very dark on that stretch of street.

Trash left in trash barrel. Both barrels have at least one trash bag on the bottom. Barrels are across street from 16 Rindgfield just down from fire hydrant. Thank you.

RIndgefield is a small, short 2-way street with parking on one side.
They plowed but only the width of the plow, maybe that was intentional. It's very difficult to get in/out of driveways. And we've lost several parking spots on the street due to mounds of snow because there was no car in space during storm. Not sure what you can do but at the very least, would you put sand or ice melt on the street. Probably sand, then cars would have some traction and not slip trying to get in/out of drive or just even trying to go around the big curve. Thanks very much for whatever you can do. Realize you're busy and thanks for all you are doing to get Cambridge back up and running by Monday !
  • 1-3 Rindgefield Street Cambridge, Massachusetts - North Cambridge
It looks like the street sign on the corner of Rindge Ave and Rindgefield St may have been hit by a large truck. The signs are bent and it is difficult to read the street name. Thanks !

On Rindgefield Street, about 4 car lengths from Rindge Avenue, there is a very large round heave (?) in the road. There is not enough room (due to snow on one side and cars on the other) to drive around this obstacle. Might it become a huge pothole ? Not sure what is happening but it'd be great if someone could check it out. Thank you so much. Will try to take a pic.

I think the city forgot our little street again. I know you are very , very busy but just want to make sure Rindgefield Street is on the list of streets that need to be plowed. Cars are getting stuck and are now going too fast so they don't get stuck in all the snow in the street. Thanks !
