On school days around 7:40AM each day the traffic to turn right onto Falls of Neuse when heading southbound on Honeycutt Rd is backed up past Loniker and many times to the Durant 4 way stop. This is due to the short length of the right most turn lane to get onto Falls of Neuse. This causes drivers to drive up the middle turn lane starting from the 540 bridge and then cut over into the middle right turn lane. That then causes the drivers turning left to go around them and drive head on into traffic.

Stop sign has been hit by a car and is down.

Currently there are 2 left hand turn lanes when turning from Westinghouse Blvd onto Capital Blvd southbound. In the mornings there are usually around 2 cars in the far left lane and around 15 cars in the other left turn lane. This is because 95% of the traffic is either heading towards Outer 440 or turning right onto Highwoods Blvd. The light allows for approximately 6-7 cars to pass through before changing. This causes many vehicles to run the red light or to cut over from the left lane into the far right lane causing near accidents and congestion. There is enough room for an additional 3rd turn lane without having to add pavement. If signs could be added (Southbound Capital/Inner 440, Outer 440, Outer 440/Highwoods) I think this would help.

The vehicle sensor on Freedom Dr does not work. The light always turns green on the south end of this intersection (Freedom/Hedingham/New Bern intersection) when no vehicles are present.
