Drainage easement behind 3004 Ginn Point Road SE is always soggy, has mosquitos, and extends beyond the fence into my back yard. Also is rotting my fence posts. Would like to request city install a french drain in the easement to alleviate the problem.

Two continuing issues that have been reported for over 2 years. (1) Overflow from surface flume where it enters a concrete storm drainage pipe behind our property. Water and debris sweep across our property and into the neighbor's property below. After we have reported issue on several occasions, the city sends out a crew with a shovel and pick to pick up some debris. That's not solving the problem. (2) rain gutter downspout water from neighbor's house at 2522 Garth Road doesn't reach the street but rather overflows at the sidewalk, and down into the gap between the sidewalk and street. It is severely eroding earth and rock from the gap on our property. A fix would be to cut a narrow flume into the sidewalk, cover it with a grate so that the water goes into the street as it is supposed to do. I'm really tired of having the city create a ticket only close it later. Really, all that the city is doing is "shrugging its shoulders" and not addressing the issues.

Storm drain behind 2520 Garth is plugged up and overflows into my back yard and neighbor's yard. His basement has flooded. This problem has been reported several times. Workmen have removed debris above storm drain but the drain is probably plugged up below the surface. Each time it overflows, lots of erosion in my yard

Since moving into our home a year and half ago, I've reported the continuing problem of drainage from upslope neighbor's property not reaching the street but rather flowing down the sidewalk and into the gap between the street and sidewalk. Each time it rains, the flow washes out all the soil, grass, gravel, etc. and is creating a channel in the gap. The city did replace a portion of the sidewalk but did not form a trough deep enough to direct the storm drainage into the street.

Storm drain at intersection of parcels 60, 62 and 64 plugged with debris and overflows into backyards of 2520 Garth Rd SE and 2518 Garth Road SE. Also flows into garage of 2518 Garth Rd SE.
Attached photo shows erosion at 2520 Garth Rd SE

Rainwater from my upslope neighbor’s home (unoccupied) is not sufficiently drained into the street but instead overflows down the sidewalk toward my property and then spills into the gap between the street and sidewalk causing severe erosion. The new sidewalk and curb laid by the city last fall does help but the lip which is supposed to help channel the water into the street isn’t sufficiently high enough (or the channel isn’t deep enough) to handle the volume flowing off the neighbors lot.
