The HAWK light at Ashby and Hillegass is not sensing bicycles waiting to cross Ashby on Northbound Hillegass Please check on the sensor loop Thanks!

Traffic goes at high from a freeway interchange onto an overly wide residential street, terminating a block later at a stop sign next to a school and playground entrance. I say terminating, but few of the cars actually stop for the stop sign, even when kids are trying to cross.

Anything that could be done to slow cars down here would be appreciated. Speed bumps, using posts to narrow the road, etc. would all be very useful.

Two bike one obstructions across the street from each other — both City of Oakland parking enforcement cars. Please explain to your parking enforcement staff that their work has a safety component — parking in bike lanes both needlessly endangers city residents (this why they’re supposed to enforce the laws against it) and sets a horrible example when they do it themselves.

The enforcement agents were socializing nearby on the sidewalk. There is a large parking lot adjacent that they could have pulled into.

Please ask them to ticket and tow each other’s cars, and to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

After being removed a few weeks ago, T-Mobile’s wheelless generator trailer has made it back to the bike lane on Broadway near Lake Temescal, once again creating a safety hazard. Please have T-Mobile pick it up or reposition it somewhere safe.

A T-Mobile generator trailer (missing its wheels), has been left in the bike lane on Broadway just west of Lake Temescal for more than a week. It’s adjacent to a cell site but does not appear to be connected. City of Oakland construction/bike lane closure rules are not being followed. Can T-Mobile please be asked to either remove it or position it safely?

Fallen tree completely blocking Sinawick trail in Joaquin Miller Park, between the northern end of the Sinawick Loop trail and the southern-most bridge over the creek.

The company in the old Genova factory — apparently Thistle — is having delivery trucks unload in the Broadway bike lane during morning rush hour, forcing cyclists to swerve into heavy car traffic. Is this consistent with their conditions of use?

In the southbound Telegraph Ave protected bike lane this morning: one Freshpoint delivery truck, one East Bay Paratransit van, and one private car. All were driven far enough up the bike lane to be thoroughly wedged between parked cars and the curb, making them unpassable and making the bike lane unusable for an entire block (so three blocks in total). The protected bike lane is a wonderful piece of infrastructure, but it needs enforcement to make it usable.
