    The location is the 600-800 blocks of South Capitol St, east side pedestrian walkway and sidewalk.

    There have been no working street lights along the pedestrian path frequented by walkers, joggers, and cyclists located east of the 395 on ramp at 700-800 South Capitol St. It's dangerous and poses serious injury hazards after dark.
  • 900 - 950 First Street Se Washington, District of Columbia - Capitol Hill
    Every day for the past two months, Loundon County buses are parking and idling in metered parking spaces, and blocking the bike lane along the 900 block of First Street SE.
  • 990 Half Street Se Washington, District of Columbia - Capitol Hill
    This morning ADS Environmental Services parked their utility truck in the middle of a crosswalk, prevent pedestrians from safely crossing Half St SE. The workmen then placed orange cones around the intersection and barricaded the street to all forms of thru traffic...cars, bikes, pedestrians. They did not have a permit nor did they post any work signage, or any road closure signage.
  • 70 Eye Street Se Washington, District of Columbia - Downtown
    PLEASE remove the new orange "Road Work Ahead" sign from the private property at 70 Eye Street SE. It is blocking sidewalk and property access by residents. And it is NOT visible by motorists because it cannot be seen from the street when driving.
  • 1000 Half St Se Washington, District of Columbia - Capitol Hill
    DCI Utility has torn up the street, sidewalks, and public green space (grass) on all corners of the intersection at Half St SE & K Ste SE and Half St SE & L St SE. They have unsuccessfully patched some areas resulting in chronic flooding and deep pools of mud where there were NONE prior to their utility work. They also dug up grass along 1000 Half St SE and never replaced it; now it is a pile of dirt.
  • 800 New Jersey Ave Se Washington, District of Columbia - Capitol Hill

    Moriarty Construction & Greystar Apartments have barricaded only open sidewalk along 800 Block of NJ Ave SE. Yesterday they closed off this temp sidewalk and closed off the road to only one lane for all north-bound and south-bound car, bike, and pedestrian traffic. Flaggers were not properly managing traffic flow and were forcing people into the middle of the street filled with charter buses, construction vehicles, taxis and cars.

    Multiple issues!
    1) Motorists blocking / sitting in only crosswalk available to pedestrians to 'legally' traverse Eye Street SE.
    2) Motorists creating their own lanes by driving head-on into oncoming traffic.
    3) Semi trucks parking and standing in middle of Eye Street SE, creating ZERO visibility situation for pedestrians attempting to use cross walk at Eye Street & Half Street SE.
