207 Colony Rd New Haven, Connecticut, 06511 - Beaver Hills
The curbside tree between 207 and 215 Colony Rd has a branch that snapped and is hanging over the sidewalk and another tree. It needs to be cut down before it falls on the sidewalk
  • Dyer St & Bellevue Rd New Haven, Connecticut, 06511 - Beaver Hills
Dyer St was repaved last year. Now this month, the repaving job has been destroyed by utility work. The trench that was dug was filled and surfaced very roughly. This should have been done before the repaving, but it at least now needs to be refilled so as not to be just as bad as it was before the repaving.

  • 413 Valley St New Haven, CT, 06515, USA - Amity
Valley St between Ramsdell and Emerson desperately needs to be resurfaced. It is full of potholes, deep cracks and is dangerous to drive on and cycle on.

What is being done to enforce the new crosswalk law? I have already had drivers ignore my presence in a clearly marked crosswalk, especially at this one. Are there any plans for publicity about the law, and especially about the fine for violation?
  • Crescent St & Dyer St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Beaver Hills
I previously submitted issue 10804859, which said in part "There is a great new 2 way cycle track on Crescent from Dyer to Fournier, but cars are parking in it because there are no protective poles to keep them out. We need the poles like the ones from Goffe to Dyer." The NH DOT issued citations to cars that were parked in the cycle track. But that does not solve the problem. Today there are others (see pic from today for example). We need the poles that are used between Goffe and Dyer to clearly define the cycle track to drivers. Otherwise, they will continue to park in the track.

There is a great new 2 way cycle track on Crescent from Dyer to Fournier, but cars are parking in it because there are no protective poles to keep them out. We need the poles like the ones from Goffe to Dyer. Without these, all the new markings are pretty useless.
  • 210 Colony Rd New Haven, Connecticut - Beaver Hills
On Sat. June 9, a car slammed into the tree in front of 210 Colony Rd. A large chunk of bark was scraped off. Hoping the tree can be protected by treating the damaged area.
  • Farmington Canal Heritage Trail Hamden, CT 06514, USA - Hamden
There is a tree down from last night's storm. It completely blocks the Farmington Trail.
  • Farmington Canal Heritage Trail Hamden, CT 06514, USA - Hamden
A driveway has been cut from a condo development across the Farmington Trail just north of Morse St. There is a solid fence blocking cyclists view of oncoming traffic. There is no Stop sign for either the driveway or the Trail in either direction. This is an accident waiting to happen.
  • Pine Rock Ave And Fitch St - New Haven Police District 10
A bicyclist riding south on Pine Rock does not get a green light to proceed into the SCSU lot unless there is a car on the trigger. This leads to a dangerous situation in which the biker must wait in the left lane indefinitely until a car arrives.
