The button for the walk signal is so far from the curb cut that someone in a wheelchair cannot reach it. I first reported this problem over two years ago. The report was closed a few days ago, but the problem was never fixed.

The button to activate the walk light is so far from the curb cut that someone in a wheelchair cannot reach it. I first reported this problem over two years ago. I just got a notice that the report had been closed, but it has not been fixed. This is a huge hazard for disabled people.

It looks like potholes on the road (particularly southbound) were filled in by just dumping asphalt on top, rather than smoothing down the road. I bicycle along that way, and have lost several spokes on my rear wheel due to the uneven road surface. My other alternative is just to avoid the right lane altogether and bike in the middle lane, but that is obviously a nuisance for cars around me. Can we get this fixed?
  • K Street And 25th Street Nw Washington, DC - West End
Sidewalk cut-out for wheelchairs is so far from the button to cross the street that wheelchair users cannot reach it. This is an Americans with Disabilities issue and a safety issue, because it means that a wheelchair user has no way to get traffic stopped before crossing the street,

The lever that is supposed to secure the pump to the valve doesn’t work, so the pump pushes out air, but it doesn't go into the tire.
  • K Street And 25th Street Nw Washington, DC - West End
As shown in the attached photo, the button to cross the street (under the no right turn sign) is completely unreachable from the curb cut that people in wheelchairs need to use.
  • 9112 Lindale Dr Bethesda, Maryland - Bethesda

My sidewalk was entirely cleared within 24 hours after the storm ended. It is at least 6 feet from the street. However, the plows today somehow managed to push the snow so far off the street that it's now covering over half the sidewalk.

And I'm not the only one. My next door neighbors on Beech Avenue were also among the first to clear their sidewalks, and now have snow and ice from the plows all over their sidewalk.

  • 9112 Lindale Dr Bethesda, Maryland - Bethesda
I am on a corner lot, so I cleared not only my sidewalk but a path from the sidewalk to the plowed section of the street. Today, I came home to find a 7 foot ice mountain where the path to the street had been. There is no way to chop through it to make a new path to the street. So my carefully cleared sidewalk is doing no one any good--they can't get onto it.
