So much gas and time are wasted sitting on Rte 50 with a red left turning arrow and no oncoming traffic. Put in a trial program to use blinking left arrows. After a full stop, cars could then turn left when traffic permitted. Forty years ago, right-on-red seemed revolutionary, but that has saved time and gas all across the country. Blinking left red arrows could do the same
Meadowbrook Estates Saratoga Springs NY
For a long time now the residents of Meadowbrook have seen less and less street signs at intersections in this neighborhood. People have been repeatedly stealing street signs and it is unacceptable because visitors etc. don't know where they're going. I think I speak for everyone when I say that we should have these replaced! Please get on this!

The third lane on the right hand most side of Route 50 in order to get on to the Northway in the Northbound direction is too short. In the summer there is always traffic backed up because of the lights and many people must wait to go on the right lane for the Northway but cannot. For a improved approach the Northway lane should be increased in length by 200 feet. With this improvement there would be less traffic. This not only happens during the summer but year round.
Blue Streak Blvd Saratoga Springs, NY 12866, USA
In the morning and afternoon there is way too much traffic coming out of the high school student lot. They need to either move the lot access to Joseph Street or put in lights and crosswalks along Blue Streak Blvd (at Circular, West Ave, and the lot entrance). This would make it easier for people using the bike racks and pedestrians. Besides, it's never good to have too many horrible teenage drivers in the same place at once. They often nearly cause accidents.

The other end of Gilbert gets the most attention, but for those of us needing to turn left onto Gilbert from 9P also find a confusing situation with traffic coming off of Meadowbrook. This along with the fog that collects down in this low area, the traffic volume and speed makes it hazardous at certain times of the day. I think this should also be considered when the Gilbert Road/Lake Ave problem is being addressed.

This intersection should have a traffic signal tied to the existing traffic signal or the Gilbert Road should be diverted to the oppsite side of the Stewart's shop so creates a
standard 4 way intersection with a single traffic light.

Intersection Of 9n And Brook Rd Saratoga Springs, NY
The road is poorly patched on 9N. The surface was so poorly patched its hard to believe someone would be allowed to walk away from that job! If i build a deck on my house I need a permit, and the inspector has to come and sign off that its safe for my family to walk out on? How many hundreds of thousands of people drive/ride over this incompetent unsafe repair? Do we have anyone who oversees this work to make sure its done properly? I was driving along (doing the speed limit) and hit this uneven surface that jarred my car so badly that I thought I was hit by another car. It instantly "threw" my car three or four feet to the right!
This should be fixed before it causes an accident, and someone gets hurt or killed!
I can assure who ever addresses the condition of our roads, and the concerns of the people who drive on them that it would be far less expensive to fix the road than to have to pay for a lawsuit resulting from an improperly maintained roadway!

The lights leading from downtown Saratoga to the Wilton mall area are terrible. As soon as one light turns green, the next turns red right before you reach it. Whoever is in charge of the light patterns should be able to make traffic flow smoother so that everyone is not racing to the next stop light. Traffic should be able to flow. I understand the side streets need to also have a greenlight but it is more than ridiculous to have to hit EVERY red light EVERY time a driver travels from Wilton to Downtown Saratoga.
