399-499 Clinton Street Saratoga Springs, New York
There is a buckling in the road and now there is a speed bump in the middle of Clinton Street, just north of the railroad tracks. It is on both sides of the road and going over them at 45 mph is going to ruin someone's car!

Commuters speed through this residential area to avoid Broadway traffic. A stop sign would make it safer for children who live and play in the area.

Crossing Church St. at the Woodlawn crosswalks is hazardous for pedestrians. It is still state law for motorists to stop for pedestrians in crosswalks yet this rarely happens in this (or any) location. Many communities have plastic signs in the middle of the road at such spots to remind motorists who has the right of way. This is a problem that will get worse.

Currentyly the posted speed limit is 40 miles per hour and 45 miles per hour on Locust Grove Road and Denton Road, respectively. This is a country residential and recreational neightorhood, where there are no sidewalks or usable shoulders. There are many walkers, joggers and bicyclists that use this area for recreation and they are required to use these roads. In addition, the Skidmore baseball field and Saratoga Polo Field are recreational venues located on Denton Road, where many pedestrians congregate.
The increased number of traffic lights within the City of Saratoga Springs have encouraged motorists to change their travel route to take this neighborhood of back roads to avoid the congestion within the city. The block encompassing the area accessed by Locust Grove Road, Denton Road, Bloomfield Road and Daniels Road has become a major traffic thoroughfare. In addition, the driveway for the Stewart's Ice Cream Plant , located at the intersection of Locust Grove Road and Denton Road is in use for the ingress and egress of their employees and service vehicles to access the plant. This has created an industrial influence to the residential zoned neighborhood, which is adding to the current traffic condition.
This block of concern is a country residential zoned neighborhood, where the roads were not designed to handle the current flow of traffic and at the current posted speed limits, creating a very dangerous situation for pedestrians, residents and motorists.
A reduction of the speed limit from 40 and 45 miles per hour to 30 miles per hour with the addition of a four way stop sign at the intersection of Locust Grove Road and Denton Road is needed.

Exiting out of the Care Lane medical area onto 9N/Church Street is hazardous when you want to make a left hand turn. It is an accident waiting to happen. Many are elderly patients or patients on medication who are not capable of jumping out in traffic when there is space to turn. There are so many lights coordinated on West Avenue. I know this can be done by coordinating a traffic light with the one at West and Church St.
1-99 Taddeo Road Mechanicville, New York
You can not see over the snow banks and need to pull into the lanes on Route 9 before you can see oncoming traffic. Very dangerous. Can someone take down these banks a few feet so we don't have a serious accident here. Thanks

Route 9 (at the stewarts by church hill road and route 9)
This is a very busy intersection that warrants a LEFT SIGNAL TURN LIGHT.
It is merely impossible to make a left turn onto church hill road especially during rush hour.
I see many people take off at a red light because they can make the turn when it is green because of oncoming traffic.
