This page will allow you to generate a text widget for your web site. The text widget is a convenient way for you to show visitors to your web site a small sample of the SeeClickFix issues in your area. You are free to choose any Number of issues to be displayed. The issues displayed are those which have most recently seen some activity (i.e. comments, votes, watchers added etc.) inside the area displayed within the map window on the left.
For each issue, users will see the summary, location, and the number of people who want it fixed. There's a button which allows them to vote, to say that they too would like to see this issue fixed, and there's another button which allows users to report issues of their own.
The Url for associated map widget box is, of course, unique to the text widget generator page. Many SeeClickFix media partners use the map widget and the text widget in conjunction with each other, with a text widget on their home page linking to a map widget on an inner page. Though you can link to any page you like through the text widget, it is most often used to link to your customized map widget once you've generated it and embedded in your web site.
The Time range for issue display is set by default to the # of hours in the last 5 years, but you are free to limit your widget so that it only displays more recent issues.
As with the map widget, you have the option here to Filter the issues that are displayed in the text widget by status and by keyword, starting here with the filter by keyword box. For example. let's say you're a member of a community group that is working to remove graffiti from a city's streets; you could create a widget that only displays issues containing the keywords "graffiti" and "tag." If you leave this box blank, your map widget will display all the issues that have been reported in the area. The Status check-boxes are another way for you to filter the issues displayed.
And, as always, you can rest assured that when you input your contact information, we will keep it private. It will not be distributed in any way, shape, or form and will never be publicly visible on any SeeClickFix website.
