Cars are illegally parked weekdays at the corner of Pine and Summer Street. This occurs daily between 2:00 and 2:30.
Because of the heavy School pedestrian and vehicle traffic at that time, for safety purposes, this few feet of intersection was posted "No parking here to corner."
This short distance only effects parking for one to two cars and does not inhibit the overall ability for parents to pick up their children at the South School.
It does however, pose a significant safety hazard for pedestrians and vehicles trying to negotiate that corner.
I normally walk from the school down that side of Summer Street to get to pond. It is getting so hazardous, I now have to walk to the other side of Summer and cross over at the lights.
If you have the resources, could you please patrol that corner during those hours a few times a week until the word gets out that this is a safety issue and needs to be enforced.
Gerry And Pine Street Stoneham, Massachusetts
This car at the corner of Pine and Gerry Street is constantly blocking the sidewalk. It is there during the heavy foot traffic from South school and causes pedestrians to walk the street.
This house has a driveway and garage, but recently put up a fence to block it and now uses the sidewalk as their driveway.
Marble Street Stoneham, MA
Disappointed that the DPw is once again creating traffic and a safety hazard. It's 7:15pm and dark and they have a truck in he middle of marble street working down a manhole. I know complaints have been made to the town. Why isn't anyone listening?
43 Ravine Road Stoneham, Massachusetts
There is a pothole here in the middle of the street that measures approx. 3 feet across. This is creating a traffic hazard as cars are using the wrong side of the road to go around the massive hole.
There are also additional small holes in the vicinity of this large one.

Pine Street from Franklin to Summer is extremely narrow. Two cars cannot safely pass each other. Vehicles are having to climb snow banks to allow incoming traffic to pass. This is a major route to South School. The edges of the snow banks need to be cut back.
