These phone wires have been hanging across West St. Ext. since soon after the October snowstorm. Someone hung the yellow crime scene tape on wires months ago, but no one has come to repair.
CL&P did come to replace two phone poles in early March, very soon after I contacted them about the problem. The CL&P wires have been moved and a rope was added to support some of the weight of the ATT and/or Cox lines that hang so low, that they brush the tops of school buses that drive up and down this road a dozen times a day. The Southington police were notified several weeks ago of this situation as it seems to pose a public safety threat, but again, no action is taken.
Shameful landline service - especially for the criminally high fees customer's are charged!
