211 Rosario Blvd Santa Fe, NM
Rosario blvd is shady and lies along Arroyo Mascaras, but there is only 1 curb cut to the arroyo along the entire downhill 1/4 mile stretch from Old Taos Hwy to Griffin and Paseo de Peralta. So there is no where for the snow melt to go and it backs up and creates 3 to 4+ inches of ice on the road. Today I watched the contract snow plow company push all the snow from the condos at 211 Rosario into the street! That will turn to ice and be here until May! Couldnt we have a another curb cut or two into the arroyo? It would be a huge help!
1/07 We didn't get a curb cut, but we did get a grader, a dump truck, and bucket loader and some city workers to reroute traffic, to spend most of the work day, trying to scrape the ice up, haul off the snow pushed into the street from the condos at 211, and put down cinders. So while I don't think this is the best solution, it certainly is a temporary GOOD thing! So Thanks!· Reported by Rosario Blvd needs two drainage curb cuts to Arroyo Mascaras to allow snow melt to drain (Guest) · Share · Flag Flagged
1401-1413 Hyde Park Rd Santa Fe, NM 87501, USA
on both sides of Hyde Park Road the shoulder has spots where the pavement drops off into a pothole and they have gotten bigger in the snowstorm. You could damage your car if you are even a few inches over the white line and then try to get back up on the roadway and hit six inches of pavement. The gravel along the shoulder just does not cut it for long. Needs actual pavement.
2724-2754 Cerrillos Rd Santa Fe, NM 87507, USA
Drivers who are too impatient to wait for the light to change during peak morning drive time (7:45 a.m.--8:10 a.m.) are cutting through the customer parking at Pep Boys on Cerrillos Road. They enter on Cerrillos and exit on Camino Carlos Rey, and cut off traffic turning left and right onto Camino Carlos Rey. These drivers go to the parking lots at the library or to the high schools nearby. They do not appear to be residents.
Lots of near misses, especially in the rain and snow!
1058-1060 Camino Real Santa Fe, NM 87501, USA
Camino Real near Barranca Road is solid ice down the hill. City has not come to plow or sand/ice the road even after innumerable messages left at 955-2411 for 2 days now. Extremely dangerous situation. A car headed down the hill is in a ditch and blocking part of the narrow road. I am hoping that another car doesn't make the turn and collides with the stranded vehicle. I hope this resolved before the sun sets.
