Thanks! Thanked!Adams And Butler Rochester Hills, MI
There is almost always difficulty getting out onto Adams from Butler road due to the traffic volume on Adams. Many have suggested adding a light here but, short of that, widening Butler to create a right turn lane would at least alleviate some of the back-up. Currently Butler is only a single lane, turning right is much easier than turning left but right turners are held up by left turners which is very frustrating.
3000-3012 Raintree Drive Rochester Hills, Michigan
Those going south on Adams don't seem to understand that when they have a blinking red light, Raintree has a green light and traffic is not stopping. I have headed onto Adams on a green light and a stopped car has taken off almost hitting me. It appears they think Raintree has a blinking red light also.
Is it possible to put a sign on Southbound Adams at Raintree indicating that the Raintree traffic has a green light with their blinking red?
Also, there are so many people going through the southbound Adams red light, you often cannot turn left onto Raintree.
Our Brookedale Woods Homeowners Assoc. has discussed both of these issues.

There needs to be consideration made for a 'no turn on red' sign at the corner of W bound Walton and Adams. There are no breaks in traffic along the stretch of Adams to Rain Tree to allow for cars to turn in of or out of the shopping centers on either side of Adams, especially on weekends. It is dangerous and there have been too many accidents already.
Adams/Powderhorn Ridge Rochester Hills, Michigan
Taking Powderhorn Ridge home from Adams tonight, I turned east to find that there was no lane available after I made my right turn! There are double yellow lines on Powderhorn Ridge now, and cars parked in the right eastbound lane as far as the eye can see. No lane was available to drive in! Plus the kids strolling the street are asking me if I know how to drive and itching for a fight. Oh, thank you Rochester Hills for such a fun time! Cars coming westbound were afforded two clear lanes of travel, but there was NOTHING but a blocked street if you DARED to travel eastbound. Maybe there SHOULD have been NO PARKING signs installed before the city decided to paint the double yellow lines. But no. I had to turn around and take Walton after this debacle; since Tienken, my normal route, is closed. I hope the city rethinks this brilliant effort to convey "safety" before somebody gets run over or attacked by kids defending their "turf"!
Texas Ave. Rochester Hills, MI
People use Texas/Oklahoma as a shortcut to north Brewster and avoid light on Walton. 40-50 mph is not uncommon. Sheriff is willing to respond, but unless you get a plate # they can't do much. And we can't expect them to be here 24/7. Some of us have asked the city to install speed "humps" (not bumps...humps are lower and wider) but city said it would interfere with snow plows. Yet Powderhorn Ridge, less than 1/2 mile west, has them. (Do they use different snow plows over there?). The demographics of Texas Ave. have changed over last 10 years, more young families with kids have moved in. This is an accident waiting to happen, and maybe after somebody's kid gets killed the city will react. But this is now on record, and the city has been served with notice, and there is no excuse for the city to say they "didn't know". You know now.
Medinah Drive Rochester Hills, Michigan
School commuters speed down our street before and after school lets out. Many use it as a cut through. We have no sidewalks and many kids walk to/from school and are in danger of being hit. Also, some commuters have their music on so loud it shakes our house. I have never seen a patrol car during these times and would greatly appreciate it.
Teinken Just Past Ironstone Drive Rochester Hills, Michigan
Hit a massive pot hole just pulling out of my sub from Ironstone Drive onto eastbound Teinken Road. Cracked my very expensive wheel, had to replace my tire. Please repair Teinken Road from Adams Rd to Livernois. If the state had to pay everyone for all the damage to their cars they would go bankrupt. Fix Michigan roads - Canada has beautiful roads (SAME WEATHER). Michigan is all about repair repair repair. Make better roads please! So frustrated I'm forking out my hard earned money on car repair when we pay out the a$$ in taxes to live in beautiful Rochester Hills! Ok, thanks for listening, rant over.
1-15 West Auburn Road Rochester Hills, MI 48307, USA
The southbound left-hand turn from Rochester to Auburn is exactly two seconds long (not kidding at all). I've seen several people get hit after they realize that it will take them an hour to make a left turn here (not kidding) and decide to get back onto Rochester Rd. Most people go down to the stop light in front of Lowes but a small percentage simply get hit while trying. Rochester Hills really doesn't care about people who live down Auburn east of Rochester - this is quite certain. Perhaps if there was oil in that area?
