Misleading No Parking 7am-9am sign at N 25/E Franklin Acknowledged

N 25th At E Franklin Richmond, VA - Church Hill

The entire east side of N 25th between Main and Broad is No Parking 7am-9am on Mondays. On the block just north of E Franklin, one book end sign says No Parking Monday 7am-9am and the other says No Parking 7am-9am, AND there is a general sign (non-directional) in the middle of the block saying No Parking Monday 7am-9am. The sign that does not specify Monday should OBVIOUSLY say Monday and it led to me getting a parking ticket. This sign is misleading and ambiguous, please fix it!

Additionally, I sent in my appeal over 15 days ago and never even got a confirmation e-mail that my appeal was received. When I check my ticket now, it shows an extra fee added for not paying in time. I have no idea who to contact to find out if A) the fee will be cleared once the appeal is processed or B) if my appeal was never received and I will continue to have a delinquent parking ticket that will rise in price until paid. Please consider adding a confirmation e-mail, even an auto-reply, to the mailbox!

missing brick sidewalks Closed

1411 E Cary St Richmond, VA - Shockoe Slip

The brickwork along Cary from 12th to 15th Street needs a real redo in several areas. In addition, several metal tree grates are crushed in, littered with trash, or not straight. People are twisting their ankles along here. I walk this everyday at lunch, and it's as if the city has no pride! Raleigh and Charlotte put us to shame, and Richmond should be embarrassed at the lack of interest we have in making our historic street-scapes beautiful!
