Seriously Neglected Property on 5th ave! Open

817 5th Ave Prospect Park, PA 19076, USA - Prospect Park

817 5th ave has been a neglected property for over 10 years now. Overgrown vegetation, collapsing Back garage, peeling paint, tarps on roof, ripped shades, rodents home. Township of Prospect Park knows about problem for over 8 years and refuses to do anything about it. Prospective home buyers think it's abandoned! What will it take to fix this place? A new mayor maybe?

  The code enforcer is an overpaid pawn of the mayor and only enforces people who are improving the neighborhood and could care less about those who trash it. He gets lots of praise from the mayor and others who are running the town into the ground. The code enforcer is nowhere to be seen when you need him, and he NEVER returns your calls. I looked at the house in question above and it it a disgrace that the township lets it get this way. I feel sorry for the neighbors there.

  Beuller, Beuller. Still no response to this issue a year later. NO ONE seems to care, The code enforcer is no where to be found on this issue. SAD, can't wait to move.

Darby Cresent Road Prospect Park, PA - Prospect Park

The lot is a trash dump. Overgrown and loaded with trash. I have reported it to the borough at least 10 times about the dumped furniture and overgroth and nothing has been done about it.
