Genesee And Oriole Pontiac, Michigan
We had a violent storm on July 27th Sunday and I actually seen what I am sure was a tornado and no emergency sirens Wendy off at the CLOSED FIEHOUSE on Oriloe and Genesss. I know they work because they sound off every 1st Saturday of the month. How and why did we get no warnings? As it past Pontiac the surrounding cities were going off. This is pathetic as a taxpayer. Can someone please let me know why?

Is anyone else sick of hearing the repeated overuse of the annoying ice cream truck tunes? They stop constantly to sell. They are so rude, they just keep playing their loud music and don't turn it off. I think we need to have a law in place to stop this annoyance. Hard to sleep when you work afternoons or midnights and are just constantly harassed with this music. There atleast 3 different trucks that come through my neighborhood everyday. And these trucks come by several times.

Always trash and trash containers on the curb. Units are in ill repair including one boarded up, one fire damaged, two open to the elements. Pontiac should should have better standards for its property. There is a problem of who to cite because of the multiple owners of the units. This will require a political or governmental solution. Where is the dialogue that addresses the complexity of the issues that tie up process/progress? The poor conditions breed the drugs and crime that we find ourselves defined by.
About two weeks ago (first of Feb) the complex was cleaned up much to my surprise. Today there are a number of furniture bits and pieces on the curb. Let's see if it gets picked up tomorrow.

Please reference the archived issue #246959 at http://seeclickfix.com/issues/246959-loud-intrusive-low-frequency-noise
Loud, Intrusive Low Frequency Noise causes ear pain, sleep loss; obvious vibrations and amplification in buildings. Can last hours, even in the dead of night (2-5am). Sometimes can be heard around the clock, almost 24/7 recently.
I closed a similar issue in May of 2013 as the noise had subsided. It has returned and been going strong throughout October and now into November. Right now it is intense, waking me up at about 8:20am, loud enough to hurt my eardrums, and was present 5 hours earlier as well.
Others in the area have commented on sore eardrums and headaches as though they have been at a loud concert on and off but are unable to hear the noise directly.
Again, the length and persistence of the noise make it seem like it is from a source other than an idling truck. Traffic noise does not explain it considering it has been absent for long stretches when traffic would be high, or in case of the having to reopen this issue, months. Also it can be heard in the dead hours of Sunday and Monday at 3-5am when traffic is sparse or nil in the area. If area acoustics are amplifying something I am unsure what.
I have not found an effective way to block it. Using white noise does not stop it, music or appliances turning on only masks it audibly; the vibration in the building, felt in the head and the soreness of the eardrums persists.
I'm at a loss here... Was really hoping it was gone for good. No such luck.
