54-98 Glenn Rd Larchmont, NY 10538, USA - NY State Senate District 37
The sidewalk ramp is broken. A large piece of concrete is detached. It is a tripping hazard. And it makes it impossible to get a stroller up onto the sidewalk.
1 Rockhill Terrace Larchmont, NY 10538, USA - Larchmont
here is another example where it is difficult to walk on the sidewalk because of bushes that overgrow the sidewalk both on the Larchmont Ave and on the Rockhill sides of this house...
these are thick evergreen bushes which are growing progressively over the sidewalk.
this homeowner should cut them back so we can use the sidewalk.

Too may cars/pickup trucks parked in resident driveway and the last car is ALWAYS sticking out of the driveway ON THE SIDEWALK.
223 Davenport Ave New Rochelle, NY - New Rochelle
Shrubs located on the north-east intersection of Church Street and Davenport Avenue (223 Davenport Ave) are located directly on the corner of the property at the curb line. The tops of these shrubs reach 4 - 4.5 ft above the roadway surface and block the view of traffic and pedestrians. Cars must creep into the intersection in order to see oncoming cars and people on the sidewalk. These shrubs cause a dangerous condition and require trimming or removal in order to correct the line of site issue.
184 Larchmont Ave. Larchmont, NY 10538, USA - Larchmont
The house at 184 Larchmont Ave has overhanging bushes that have been getting worse over the years. Many many children walk down Larchmont Ave here on their way to school and they CANNOT stay on the sidewalk here.
Why isn't this cut back? This is dangerous! All it takes is one careless driver and a child could get injured or worse! This homeowner should be held liable if this occurs.

Bushes in front of this house overhang most of the sidewalk.
This has been the case for years, in violation of Larchmont Village regulations. Need to be CUT!
They need to be cut back
Soundview Dr Larchmont, NY - Larchmont
Multiple streets intersecting at Stuyvesant Ave. need pedestrian crossings and better signage. There are many walkers and no sidewalks - too dangerous, especially for the children walking to school.
218 Larchmont Ave. Larchmont, NY 10538 - Larchmont
This house on the corner of Larchmont Ave and Rockhill has bushes along both street fronts that significantly overhang the sidewalk, forcing everyone to walk in the street including kids going to school, people pushing strollers, etc. This is a dangerous situation especially given how fast people drive through the Village area
Oakland Beach At Milton Rd In Rye - Rye
The pedestrian walk signal at the intersection of Oakland Beach Ave and Milton Rd is on the wrong side of the intersection. Persons walking North/South have a sidewalk on only one side of the street there, yet the walk signal is on the opposite side. Going North/South there is not even a crosswalk on the side with the sidewalk. Plus, standing there, you can't see the light to be sure it's safe to cross. Very dangerous!

The new sidewalk that people use to enter the Central School has a tree branch that's overhanging the sidewalk at adult eye level. Someone could get seriously hurt.
It is three or four trees down the sidewalk from the Palmer Avenue entrance.
30 Mayhew Ave Larchmont, NY 10538, USA - Larchmont
This is very dangerous. The people who live here never shovel the sidewalk in front of their house. At this point, we had a snowstorm about 10 days ago and their walk is still not shoveled. Every other sidewalk in the neighborhood is clear. At this house kids have to walk into the street on a blind corner in order to get to school. It is only a matter of time until someone gets hit by a car. See photos taken 1/6/10, following last week's snowstorm.
Whippoorwill Rd E Armonk, NY - Armonk
NO speed limit observance. Cars travel at high speed up & down road. Residents walk to town with no sidewalks/shoulder & cars leaving driveways are all at high risk for being hit. Solution = speed bumps or stop signs at Annadale or Rock Hill

a few paving stones are missing on sidewalk in huguenot/memorial hwy park entrance. For over 6 months the entrance has been locked and blocked with Parks & Recreation barricades around it. I see people and kids climbing over the fence all the time to exit the park near that corner, Its inevitable that someone is going to slip and impale themselves pretty bad on the spike fence. If the city is so afraid of someone getting hurt, they would have just fixed the pavers and opened the gate.
809 Rockland Ave Mamaroneck, NY 10543, USA - NY State Senate District 37
The area around the intersection of Rockland and mkenna is a total disaster.
There are no sidewalks, along with a steep drastic turn.
The issue is made worse due to the limited access routes in this particular area for children heading to the high school.
The town need to make this area safer for pedestrians asap before someone gets killed.
I have written both the mamaroneck town supervisor as well as the larchmont Gardens asoc to no avail?
81 Chatsworth Avenue Larchmont, NY - Larchmont
Con Edison dug up grassy area between my yard at 81 Chatsworth and the street to repair some pipes. This was on Monday May 3 and Tuesday May 4.
They inserted a sleeve into the pipes, made some repair to where gas lines come into my home and covered up the hole with a piece of plywood. (the hole is four or five feet deep).
They then said they were called onto another job and needed to leave. Before leaving they put a couple of saw horses out and some construction tape and an orange cone.
Now, its been two weeks and nobody has ever returned and the yard is still dug up.
My sprinkler system has been damaged. While digging, Con Ed crews punctured the sprinkler. I told them about the sprinkler. After damaging it, they put a piece of tape around the pipe, but it still leaks. There is dirt and toppled over saw horses in the front of my yard. Its an eyesore and dangerous. My yard is typically kept in very good condition, so its regrettable that my yard has been affected like this.
Worse of all, now there is a gas leak that seems to be more and more evident in the area around the construction site. We noticed it before the construction, but now we had a neighbor comment on it, so it must be getting stronger.
How do we get Con Ed to repair this? I've called and spoke with them about the smell of gas. However, I'd like for them to actually commit to getting my yard back to where it was before they tore it up, including the sprinkler system.
When I called the Con Ed office today, they said their computers were down.

1. Do the width of the sidewalk; clearing a foot-wide path is lazy - it's hard to walk and strollers are screwed. 2. If you live on a corner, do out to the street. Why should people have to negotiate a mountain next to your house? 3. If you go south for the winter, contract someone to keep your walks clear. You might not be here, but the rest of us are. C'mon people, just because you might never walk on your own sidewalks, think about your neighbors.

Leaf piles on many TOM streets are causing traffic issues on already narrow two way streets and reducing legal available parking. Now with the rain, they are creating additional drainage problems and have the potential to flood streets, driveways and sidewalks should the rain get heavy. Last time they were picked up was October 30th. PLEASE revise the schedule and PICK them.
