The plane noise is worse--especially on rainy and/or Sunday nights. I thought an alternate flight plan had been developed
I think the solution needs to come from the FAA and federal government--it is beyond local authority.
residents can call the FAA noise complaint hotline at 718-553-3365. the person in charge of the complaints is Paul Laude. his voice mail box doesn't mention his name or that it is a complaint line, but you should leave a message anyway. the planes we hear over larchmont are laguardia planes coming in for a landing into runway 22. the air traffic controllers are supposed to be using the arrival approach over the long island sound, but they are very lax in following the proper noise abatement procedure. please call to complain about the laguardia arrivals into runway 22. please request that they use the noise abatement approach over the long island sound.
Someone has given me a name and number at the FAA--and I will call them
Noise,Litter and Graffiti
Keep calling the Police .........
Its winter, but they will be back in the spring as they have for last 6 years or so.This will go on for ever if nothing is done by the landlord or police , but nobody seemes to care.
